Hey, I have an idea that might be fun for post-canon Akechi. He leaves the public eye for awhile but decides to join a rock band as a vocalist. The whole gimmick is the group wears masks, so he can still be anonymous (therefore, not risking exposing himself to certain people, i.e., Akira, the Phantom Thieves, and the whole Shido conspiracy) AND getting out his long-held frustrations through music.

I live for Goro shattering his mask and being his true self for the world. So him going full force into the emotion that he tries so hard to restrain all his years is cathartic to me. Also, you know he would songwrite some angsty shit and I greatly enjoy the thought of him brooding over an art like this.

Also, he does not tolerate empty praise if he has fans. He simply does this for his own benefit, which is about right for him.
