Also what are your thoughts on HR Giger?

I think he's really cool! I actually wrote up a two-page spread about Giger for my art book, but the group that manages his estate never got back to me about the art permissions, so I ultimately had to cut it.

I'll have to look up my old draft and see if I can turn that into a newsletter issue... I remember I had a great little wrap-up paragraph that I don't think made it into the book anywhere:

"Giger just does one thing, but he does it well. On the plus side, this makes his work easy to identify. Does this artwork look like a turducken of sex and death? Is it triggering sense memories of forgotten nightmares? Is that worm doing what you think it’s doing? The answer, as always with HR Giger, is yes."
