Design draft, media experimentation and final design.
For my design draft, I used all the jewellery's elements such as pearls around the neck and waist and the end of the jewellery as the corset. I used HB pencil to draw the draft so rubbing out mistakes was easier. I think when applying media I will get rid of the pearls as I think it is overwhelming with them on. For my media experimentation, I photo copied the design draft on to drawing paper and I got rid of the pearls as I though they were overwhelming with them on. I used the SS21 trend sorbet pastel tones and I used yellow, blue, pink and purple oil pastels for the the sorbet pastel tones. I used the skin tone pencils for the skin and coloured pencils for the facial features, hair, earrings snd freckles. Then fine lined for the outline to stand out. I think this one is successful as it lots of different elements of the jewellery involved making the design more creative. To improve I will get the pearls back but instead of drawing them I will use stick on pearls to create shadow and texture. Also, I will make the face more proportional to the model head. For my final design, I got the pearls back but instead of drawing them I used stick on pearls to create shadow and texture. Also, I made the face more proportional to the model head.

Design draft, media experimentation and final design.
For my design draft, I used the architectures points on the towers for the sleeves, the windows for the top and lines for the pleated skirt. I used HB pencil to draw the draft so rubbing out mistakes was easier. I think when applying media I will make the sleeves more proportionate to each other so they are symmetrical.
For my media experimentation, I photo copied the design draft on to drawing paper and I made the sleeves more proportionate to each other so that they were symmetrical. I used the SS21 trend sorbet pastel tones and I used different shades of yellow, blue, pink and purple coloured pencils for the shading of the sorbet pastel tones. I used the skin tone pencils for the skin and coloured pencils for the facial features, hair, earrings snd freckles. Then fine lined for the outline to stand out. I think this one is successful as it lots of different elements of the architecture involved making the design more creative. To improve I will use different shades of blue as the blues I used are quite dull and not sorbet toned and also I will create a collage skirt making it textured and 3D. Furthermore, instead of a ponytail, I will draw the hair in a bun so it doesn't change the hair entirely but it allows some more hairstyle variety within the final 8.
For my final design, I have used different shades of blue as the blues I used were quite dull and not sorbet toned and also I created a collage skirt making it textured and 3D. Furthermore, instead of a ponytail, I have drawn the hair in a bun so it doesn't change the hair entirely but it allows some more hairstyle variety within the final 8.

Design draft, media experimentation and final design.
For my design draft, I used all of the mirror's elements such as the flowers all over the outfit. I used HB pencil to draw the draft so rubbing out mistakes was easier. I think when applying media I will change the outfit entirely to a more eventful outfit to fit in and I will make it more literal.
For my media experimentation, I photo copied the design draft on to drawing paper and I changed the outfit entirely to a more eventful outfit to fit in and I made it more literally based on the mirror. I used the SS21 trend folk inspired coats but without the decorations on for the coat and I used the handle of the mirror for the corset and the actual mirror with the flower pattern as the bottom of the dress. I used the crayons for the colours of the outfit being pink, purply colour, blue, green and grey. HB pencil for shading the white areas. I used the skin tone pencils for the skin and coloured pencils for the facial features, hair and earrings. Then fine lined for the outline to stand out. I think this one is successful as it looks way more suitable to wear to an event and it fits in better with the final 8. To improve I will make the flowers 3d with tissue paper and add details to the flowers with white paint and a darker colour water colour than the original colour of the flower, also make the face more proportional to the model head. Furthermore, instead of a ponytail, I will draw the hair in a bun so it doesn't change the hair entirely but it allows some more hairstyle variety within the final 8.

Design draft, media experimentation and final design.
For my design draft, I used all of the jewellery's elements such as the pearls on the jewellery on the shoes and the decoration on the layers of the jewellery for some pattern on the outfit. I used HB pencil to draw the draft so rubbing out mistakes was easier. I think when applying media I will make the shoulders more prominent to match the trend.
For my media experimentation, I photo copied the design draft on to drawing paper and I made the shoulders more prominent to match the trend. I used the SS21 trend oversized shoulder pad boyfriend jacket for the outfit and used different shades of brown, orange and yellow coloured pencil to create the golden look like the jewellery and also the grey coloured pencil for the tights and turtle neck jumper. I used the skin tone pencils for the skin and coloured pencils for the facial features, hair and earrings. Then fine lined for the outline to stand out. I think this one is successful as the gold really looks like gold and the shading really makes the gold look realistic. To improve I will make the face more proportional to the model head as atm it is not, reshape the hands as they are looking a bit too unrealistic and make the turtle neck jumper more black to be more stand out.
For my final design I made the face more proportional to the model head as before it was not. I reshaped the hands as they were looking a bit too unrealistic and I made the turtle neck jumper more black with the fine liner to be more stand out.

Design draft, media experimentation and final design.
For my design draft, I used all of the mirrors elements such as the leaves on the mirror for the sleeves and the outline of the mirror being the halter neck line and waist belt and the rest of the dress just being plain. I used HB pencil to draw the draft so rubbing out mistakes was easier. I think when applying media I will get rid of the waist belt and just have a waist band as I just want there to be a show of the dress' silhouette.
For my media experimentation, I photo copied the design draft on to drawing paper and I got rid of the waist belt and instead drew a waist band as I just wanted there to be a show of the dress' silhouette. I used the SS21 trend yellow and camel colour styling for the colours and used the coloured pencils to draw this. I used the skin tone pencils for the skin and coloured pencils for the facial features, hair and earrings. Then fine lined for the outline to stand out. I think this one is successful as the silhouette is complementing and will give the final 8 variety within the collection. To improve I will use more shades of yellow to create better shading and I will use 3d paper to create the leaves on the sleeves for more texture and shadows and also draw the eyes on bit bigger.
For my final design I used more shades of yellow to create better shading and I used 3d paper to create the leaves on the sleeves for more texture and shadows and also I have drawn the eyes on a bit bigger.

For my design draft, I used the all of the mirrors elements such as the flowers on the mirror all over the outfit and the handle as the bandeau top. I used HB pencil to draw the draft so rubbing out mistakes was easier. I think when applying media I will make the waist band straighter and the hands more accurate.
For my media experimentation, I photo copied the design draft on to drawing paper and I made the waist band straighter and the hands more accurate. I used the SS21 trend oversized shoulder pad boyfriend jacket for the outfit and used my fine liner sharpies for the blue and green colours and a regular HB pencil for the silver bandeau top and shading the white areas. I used the skin tone pencils for the skin and coloured pencils for the facial features, hair and earrings. Then fine lined for the outline to stand out. I think this one is successful as the shading really makes it look realistic and the bandeau top is a nice shape. To improve I will use water colours instead of fine liner sharpie as I noticed on the picture of the mirror that there are pink and purplish flowers so I will use water colours to be able to blend these colours when it comes to the flowers. Furthermore, instead of a ponytail, I will draw the hair in a bun so it doesn't change the hair entirely but it allows some more hairstyle variety within the final 8.
For my final design, used water colours instead of fine liner sharpie as I noticed on the picture of the mirror that there were pink and purplish flowers so I used water colours to be able to blend these colours when it came to the flowers. Also, I've drawn the hair in a bun so it doesn't change the hair entirely but it allows some more hairstyle variety within the final 8.

Draft design, media experimentation and final design.
For my design draft, I used the all of the clocks elements such as the face of the clock for the middle of the dress and the rest of the clock for the rest of the dress. I used HB pencil to draw the draft so rubbing out mistakes was easier. I think when applying media I will make the lines on the bottom half of the dress more symmetrical.
For my media experimentation, I photo copied the design draft on to drawing paper and I made the lines on the bottom half of the dress more symmetrical. I used the SS21 trend yellow and camel colour styling for the outfit and used the oil pastels for the yellow and camel colours. I used the skin tone pencils for the skin and coloured pencils for the facial features, hair and earrings and rubbed out areas of the skin to create her vitiligo. Then fine lined for the outline to stand out. I think this one is successful as the outfit creates this really nice hourglass silhouette which will give the final 8s silhouettes more variety. To improve I will shade the pastels less as it is slightly over blended which makes the fine lined areas faint and also the face is slightly not proportionate compared to the model head so I will fix that.
For my final design, I shaded the pastels less as before it was slightly over blended which makes the fine lined areas faint and also the face was slightly not proportionate compared to the model head so I've fixed that.

Design draft, media experimentation and final design 1
For my design draft, I used the all of the mirrors elements such as the leaves to create the dress and the outline of the mirror for the off the shoulder strap. I used HB pencil to draw the draft so rubbing out mistakes was easier. I think when applying media I will use 3D paper to create the leaves giving the dress texture.
For my media experimentation, I photo copied the design draft on to drawing paper and used 3D paper to create the leaves giving the dress texture. I used the SS21 trend yellow and camel colour styling for the outfit and used the water colours for the yellow and camel colours. I used the skin tone pencils for the skin and coloured pencils for the facial features, hair and earrings. Then fine lined for the outline to stand out. I think this one successful and my favourite as the outfit really stands with these 3D leaves and because they aren't fully stuck down they have their own shadows. Also the dresses shape is nice . To improve I will make the leaves slightly more sharp rather than blunt for the precise look and instead of a ponytail, draw the hair in a bun so it doesn't change the hair entirely but it allows some more hairstyle variety within the final 8.
For my final design, I made the leaves slightly more sharp rather than blunt for a precise look and instead of a ponytail, I've drawn the hair in a bun so it doesn't change the hair entirely but it allows some more hairstyle variety within the final 8.

Design draft and media experimentation 4
For my design draft, I used the all of the red mirrors' elements to create the jacket by using the cross hatch area as a fishnet top and the rest to decorate the trousers. I used HB pencil to draw the draft so rubbing out mistakes was easier. I think when applying media I will change the top to a folk inspired coat shape because atm it does not look eventful. For my media experimentation, I photo copied the design draft on to drawing paper and changed the top to a folk inspired coat shape because it did not look eventful before. I used the SS21 trend folk inspired coat for the top and used the vivid red double sided felt tip for the trousers and part of the coat, beads around the trousers for the decoration to add texture and some shine, red stretch fabric for the collar and tangerine nets for the fish net sleeves . I used the skin tone pencils for the skin and coloured pencils for the facial features, hair and earrings. Then fine lined for the outline to stand out. I think this one is very unsuccessful as the outfit is a not really made for an event like the final 8, there is virtually no shading on the plain red areas, the 3d elements look a mess but I was trying to experiment with them and give the outfit a textured look but it just didn't work out and the facial features are not proportionate at all. To improve I would have scrapped this idea entirely, and done something else.

Design draft and media experimentation 3
For my design draft, I used the all of the red mirrors' elements to create the jacket by using the cross hatch area as fishnet tights and the rest to decorate the jacket. I used HB pencil to draw the draft so rubbing out mistakes was easier. I think when applying media I will need to make the lines on the fishnet tights more straight and accurate using a ruler.
For my media experimentation, I photo copied the design draft on to drawing paper and made the fishnet tights more straight and accurate using a ruler. I used the SS21 trend oversized shoulder pad boyfriend jacket for the outfit and used the oil pastels for the red and went over that with a HB pencil, blending that in to create shading. I used the skin tone pencils for the skin and coloured pencils for the facial features, hair and earrings. Then fine lined for the outline to stand out. I think this one is unsuccessful as the outfit is a not really made for an event like the final 8 and the oil pastels and HB pencil did not blend well together at all to create shading . To improve I would have drawn maybe a skirt to make the outfit fit in with the final 8 being made for events and I would have blended the red oil pastel with my finger for a smoother look rather than using a HB pencil making it look dirty and grey which was not the look I was going for.

Design draft and media experimentation 2
For my design draft, I used the all of the clocks textures to crate the jump suit and placed the clock face in the middle of her top from the victorian clock. I used HB pencil to draw the draft so rubbing out mistakes was easier. I think when applying media I will need to make the arms more proportional and the lines on the trouser. For my media experimentation, I photo copied the design draft on to drawing paper and made the arms and lines more proportional. I used the SS21 trend sorbet pastel tones for the colour purple and used the water colour, mixing purple and white together to attain the sorbet colour. I used the skin tone pencils for the skin and coloured pencils for the facial features, hair and earrings. Then fine lined for the outline to stand out. I am 50/50 with this one because I like the outfit as a whole and the colour isn't all bad but there is no real shading within the outfit and also the fine liner was running out so the lines were inconsistent. To improve I would get a new fine liner and layer up the darker side of the sorbet purple for shading.

Design draft and media experimentation 1
For my design draft, I used the windows on the skirt, those things on top of the towers on the bottom of the skirt and the statue of the horse and man on the long sleeved crop top from the victorian architecture. I used HB pencil to draw the draft so rubbing out mistakes was easier. I think when applying media I will need to make the lines on the outside of the skirt straighter as they are a bit curved and my idea was to have the bottom half of the outfit structured and the top half fitted.
For my media experimentation, I photo copied the design draft on to drawing paper and straightened out the lines on the outline of the skirt to give it a more structured look which is what I was going for. I used the SS21 trend sorbet pastel tones for the colours and used the double sided felt tip to apply them and using multiple shades of the one colour, I created somewhat successful shading. I used the skin tone pencils for the skin and coloured pencils for the facial features, hair and earrings. I am 50/50 with this one because I like the outfit as a whole but when it comes to the colours of the outfit, they don't really look like sorbet pastel tones and my shading on the purple areas isn't that great as it just looks like a dark purple line around a light purple box. To improve I would use lighter shades of the colours to create the sorbet pastel tones and use a lighter shade of purple for shading the sorbet purple windows on the skirt.
