A boil is a common, painful infection of a hair follicle and the surrounding skin. It begins as a red lump, then fills with pus as white blood cells rush in to fight the infection. Good home care can often clear up a single boil, also known as a skin abscess. A doctor's care is needed when a boil resists treatment or develops in certain vulnerable areas of the body. Causes of Boils
Germs such as Staphylococcus bacteria which is also known as staphylococcus aureus usually live on the surface of the skin or inside the nose without any problem but when a scrape, cut, splinter or an insect bite breaks the skin, it makes it possible for the bacteria to gain access to a hair follicle and then trigger an infection which results in a boil. Also, some boils can be caused by an ingrown hair.
There is a particular type of staph that causes an infection that results in a boil, which commonly occurs in the perineal body, surrounding structures and buttocks, and it is usually recurrent. This staph is known as methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA). This MRSA infection is resistant to many antibiotics.
Coach Atho dela Cruz had sleepless night due throbbing pain caused by a boil (pigsa in tagalog) on his right face near the ear which a pain reliever did not alleviate the pain. Then he remember the kinesiology taping where he is certified in 2020 does help in decompression and pain relief.
Once he applied the tape (webbing) method he instantly relieved of throbbing pain. The Tape decompress the soft tissues giving it more room for the pus and pain receptors.
This photo is an example of webbing kinesiology taping method.
I adviced him to do manual lymphatic drainage so that toxic products and bacteria are destroyed quickly.
Here is the lymphatic system of our Face, Head and Neck. There are 200 lymph nodes in this region.
As a certified Face, Neck and Head IASTM practitioner. He knows what to do for faster healing. He used M2T-Blade aesthetic tool to increase blood circulation, relaxation of facial soft tissues and lymphatic drainage.
After a week of recovery.
Happy New Year and Happy New Face as claimed by our Love Coach Atho.
Triple Extension is engaging the lower back, glute max, hamstring and calves muscle which
-hips
-knees
-ankle
are extended simultaneously.
These 3 joints are lock in to transfer power from hip to knee to ankle. And should move efficiently in the entire full range of motion and the surrounding muscles gastrocnemius, soleus, gluteus, quadriceps, and even hamstrings, hip flexors, and abductors/adductors) are working well and if not injury is bound to occur.
Triple Extension is the most common athletic movement.
