What to know (almost the same as last time):

There is no theme for this, so go wild! 

We are accepting both image and text submissions for this contest

This design will be chosen by community voting: i.e. you can vote on what design you think should win

We will announce the winner’s on 12/9, giving you a week to vote.

All rules from for submission still apply, so we will not be accepting any designs with nudity, signatures, ect; (Please review our FAQ and how to submit for submission guidelines)

#2k’s Received Submissions

Hello! Boony and I have been working on the design for #2000, so don’t worry! We thought it would be nice to show you all the submissions we got, similarly to what we did when designing #1k (if I’m remembering right!)

All the submissions we received are under the cut! Thanks again, everyone!

Their arms can split and subdivide into paper thin, flexible ‘leaves’ which resemble 2D cutouts of arms and hands. They float and fan around 2000 but they can also converge back into human-looking arms. 

Black gloves up to the forearm.

Behind their back between the shoulder blades floats a 'halo’ or “wings” made up of fractal patterns that fades into nothingness behind them.

Pale yellow skin, almost pulsing with light. 

Eyes sewn shut with blue thread. 

Two hands at the end of each arm.

It has a somewhat insect look to it even though it is not an insect.

This fanpro has an overall sense of arrogance, whether it be its stance or expression, it will most likely look down upon others.

White/silver hair and a weird number of eyes.

#2000 has a more modern sci-fi theme to contrast with #1000’s antique mythological look, but still wearing some sort of armor!

A fanpro with two bodies, conjoined by their long hair.

As androgynous as a marble Greco-Roman statue.

A warrior clad in gold and purple.

No head.

Constantly screeching.

Walks on seven legs.

Hello everyone! Sorry for the wait, all the mods have been very busy this week.

Submissions are now open! Due to our tardiness in posting this, we will go themeless for our first batch of gen 16. The first batch will be chosen and released this coming Friday, 7/3. 

Moving on to our next announcement, the results of the poll are in! The special number for our contest is φ, the Golden Ratio.

Fullbody:

Now has boots

Collar is now flat

Halo changed: new design for fairy wings, updated purple flower design, changed the arms.

Red string moved to different areas & minimized a little (~3 'strings' showing)

Added some purple flower accessories

"Powers of Space, Time, Energy and Matter" concepts added, to be discussed and designed

Attempted to puff the chest out a little (?)

Stance widened a little

Two more arms to look more regal/elegant

Added eyes to the palms of the hands as well (perhaps should match the 'power' floating over each?)

Back view:

Eye on back given a "K" shaped pupil as well

Bust:

Sunglasses moved up to show the eyes

Pink Shark Bow concept and purple flowers added

Now has an actual hand on hips

Hey all, Zee here. We're winding down on our 1000 design and are beginning the final version! I skipped quite a few details for now, such as the flowers and the pink shark bow...

Pictured: Full view, back view, bust/waist view

Full view

Four eyes, two normally placed, and two where the eyebrows normally are. They are bright fluoro pink, and two have vertically slit irises (like snake eyes p much)

The design has a minimum of 4 arms, each 'holding' an aspect of space, time, energy, and matter.

The top is asymmetrical Roman military-esque armor.

The helmet is also Roman military, but with the feather top 'pulled out' and made longer. It also includes a pair of goggles. The front part has a subtle 'M' shape, which is the roman numeral for 1000.

The arms probably won't have armor in order to better show the skintone's transition/gradient.

Red string placement is a bit of a mystery right now. Is it better on one of he arms, or the leg?

Bottom is also part of Roman military outfit, but gradually becomes the squidlike tentacles.

Feet and boots are a mystery to me right now. The legs are froglike with STRONG THIGHS.

A 'halo' with other design elements behind him. It includes some more eyes, the fairy wings, some blockish/stylized arms (kind of wary of Hinduism here, trying not to appropriate anything) and even more tentacles. Throughout are more purple flowers.

General pose is up for debate. Is it a bit too boring? Can it be made more dynamic/better, such as a 3/4 view?

Back view to show the eye. This eye is purple.

The bust/waist view is to show the hair (feathery and white, with rainbow-colored edges) sharp teeth, and RAD SUNGLASSES. When we get more into the details, this view might be the one showing the eyes that spell '1 K'

We'll probably be discussing and deciding on these as we go along, and as always, let us know what you think!

Hey there! Sorry for not posting anything up to this point, I've been busy with other stuff but I've also been formulating some ideas for 1,000.

Essentially my main thought regarding 1000 is to have various additional appendages - arms, tentacles, purple flowers etc - orbiting around 1,000 in distinct "halos", leaving the central design less complex. At the moment, I thought that an eye halo, a purple flower halo (submission 5), a hand halo (with the read string as suggested by submission 20) and a fabulous tentacle halo, though this may change.

Still busy on this end, but I do have some sketches! Some different armor tops for the design, not sure what I like more. Probably the front of the 3rd and the back of the 2nd.

Also, finally drew the four eyes, and the eye on the back. I'm also unsure as to whether it has four arms or six (they probably have as many arms as they want to at any given time, so it doesn't really matter)

So yeah feel free to tell us what you think.

Definitely agree, I’ll do a few revisions and post some different color versions next time.

Hey everyone, Zee here. Sorry for the absence, life has been busy for many of us.

The first pic is a general skin tone test: grey skin, lighter blue on the limbs, light blue on the hands. I imagine the freckles as a darker blue, to keep the tone consistent. Blue feathers on the belly, with some on the shoulders and head for balance, as well as claws, may or may not be blue.

Middle pic was done while I was thinking about how the goggles-helmet idea was well-liked. I personally love drawing long lines so I pulled the little feather-top of the Roman helmet out into... this. It's supposed to be made of feathers. Also included is the eye on the back.

Third is a general draft of this design with some color. Arkie and I were discussing this and decided the 'tentacles' could be part of the clothes (much like Infinity's dress) and one of the suggestions was definitely for squid tentacles, so I included one to show that.

I still feel like I'm using a bit too much from Roman Military for the outfit, but I'm not too sure how else to design it.

The hair can still be rainbow-colored when they take the helmet off. (Ultimately, the design's gonna need a back view too.)
