PART 2

After Zoe leaves, Via stands there for a bit just taking in their conversation, imagining things with Milo... Then the door opens and in comes Mr. Randall. 

“This is the girls...” Via says and Milo interrupts her looking really mad. 

“I can’t do this anymore.” Is the only thing Milo says before he grabs Via and pushes her toward himself touching her lips with his. At first Via is caught by surprise. What is going on but then she catches on. This is not a dream. This is real. His soft lips touching hers. She kisses him back and they continue like this for what feels like only a moment. Via is sad that it’s over but still enjoys the moment. A moment that might only be for tonight. But a moment she will remember forever. 

“What?” Via stammers. 

“You look beautiful Via.” Milo looks into her eyes and she feels like he looks at her, the real her. Like he knows everything about her and it is the most perfect feeling. She feels safe in this moment. 

“What if someone sees us?” Via suddenly asks. A worry flushes over her. If someone knew she know that Kate and her gang would bully her till the end of her life. 

“Meet me at the parking lot in 10 minutes. We can go to my place but only if you want to.” Milo says biting his lip and Via nods kissing him one last time before they walk out one by one with a 5 minute gab. When Via walks out to the cars they start kissing again. Something feels so right for Via, she’s never been like this before but it’s the first time she’s been this confident. It’s like she can’t keep her hands to herself and they start making out in the car as well. 

“Via, we need to get out of here. If someone sees us I could get fired and I probably will never get to teach again. As much as I like this we need to get out of here.” Milo says kissing her on the neck. It’s so hard for Via to hold it in, but she manage and they drive to Milo’s place.

PART 1

Then there was prom. Pre-party with the girls and photos and dancing of course. That one night where it’s like there is no rules. Every one is nice to each other and the only thing that matters is enjoying this night. 

Via goes to the bathroom to clean up a bit with Zoe. 

“Did you notice that Mr. Randall has been looking at you all night?” Zoe asks and Via just blush. 

“He is really sweet you know. I just wish Milo wasn’t the teacher. There is no way we could ever be together...” Via says and Zoe interrupts her immediately.

“You call him Milo? How close are you two even?” Zoe asks wide eyes open. 

“It’s no big deal” Via tries to calm Zoe down. 

“Please don’t freak out. Nothing has happened and as I said nothing will.” Via says trying to calm Zoe down. 

“Why not? He is good-looking and you say he is sweet and he’s clearly into you Via. I ship it. I mean it. If something happens I will 100% support you, you know” Zoe says like it’s a possibility that something would happen.

The first meeting at volunteering goes really good. The car ride over was real fun and Via and Milo talked a lot. Coming in Via immediately get attention from all the smaller kids wanting her to read for them and she enjoys every bit of it. 

Milo talks with a teenager who can’t use her legs and has hearing aids. 

“She’s really pretty Milo.” Selena says laughing a bit. Milo just smiles at her. 

“Do you like her?” Selena continues teasing. 

“She is my student, that would be wrong of me.” There is silence for a bit and then he continues. 

“How are you doing Selena? I haven’t been here for a long time” Milo looks to the floor embarrassed. 

“It’s okay. I know it was hard for you to see me like this. I know you have been struggling” She reaches for his hand and he takes it. They continue for a bit and then all the kids asks for him to play his guitar like he used to. Milo smiles at Via while she hands him a guitar and the kids all starts dancing to the music. 

Milo looks at Via and she can’t help but blush which makes him smile even more.

The next day when class is almost over Mr. Randall asks Via to wait in class when the bell rings. The mean girls throws paper at her and whisper rude things to her but Via just tries to ignore it. 

Mr. Radall asks Via if she is okay which Via feels is a bit awkward after he saw he breaking down yesterday. 

“Do you talk to anyone about these things?” He asks and Via just looks to the ground shaking her head. 

“What about friends?” he asks.

“I don’t really want pity and I don’t want it to get worse either so I just keep my mouth shut actually.” Via says and a tear falls from her cheek. There is silence for a bit until Milo grabs her and hugs her tightly. 

“If you need to talk to someone you can always mail me no matter the time okay?” He whispers into her ear. They hug for a bit and then he breaks the hug. Via thanks him and leaves the class all red and with swollen eyes. She walks directly into the bathroom to fix her makeup before finding her friends

Via stays a bit after school until the suns starts going down. A couple of mean girls wait for her to walk out the school. They push her down the stairs and call her names. This happens a lot when Via is alone and they know. Milo walks by and the girls flee. He helps her up and she runs over to a corner. Milo follows and tries to comfort her the only way he knows how to. At first he hesitates but then he hugs her tightly telling her its okay to cry which comforts Via.

Monday morning Via walks up to her best friend Zoe and her boyfriend Theo. 

“I’m sorry to interrupt but can I talk to Zoe a bit?” Via asks and Theo nods, kiss Zoe on her cheek and walks over to his friends. Via tells about her meeting Milo at work and Zoe encourage her. 

“Did you kiss?” Zoe asks eagerly even though she knows that that would never happen. 

“No. But he is going to volunteer with me this year. And he said he is looking forward to it.” Via says and starts blushing.

“He is so into you Via.” Zoe says and push her playfully. They laugh and the bell rings.

It’s Saturday morning and Via is running late for work. And to her surprise she runs into her new teacher.  “I’m so so sorry.” Via says while Milo helps her to her feet. 

“No. That’s on me. I didn’t really look where I was going.” Milo says.

“Hey. Aren’t you the new teacher?” Via asks and Milo nods in response. 

“You work here?” Milo asks and looks her up and down and smile to himself. Via nods and there is silence for a bit. 

“I saw you volunteered for the children this year? I’m glad I’m going to see more to you” Milo says and smiles at Via. Via starts blushing. Did he just flirt with her or is she putting to much into it. 

“I better get to work or my boss will kill me” Via looks at her feet and try to control the heat getting into her cheeks. 

“I’ll see you around.. Via” Milo says and slowly starts running looking back at her. Via smiles and start her day at work.

While in the cafeteria Via and her friends talks about the new teacher. Well everybody does.  “I could totally do the new teacher. Mr. Randall.” Eve says.

“Zoe Randall... It can’t be more perfect than that!” Zoe says and winks at Via. Via starts blushing. It’s not her being so forward about these things and especially not if the talk is about the teachers. 

“How do you even have the time to volunteering Via? You have a part time job.” Eve asks. 

“Well I think it’s a good cause and no one else volunteered. I always sign myself up for these causes so. And they are really good on the college applications as well.” Via says. Each year a teacher joins as well. Last year was ms. Hopper so she probably will come this year too. And it is the last year of school so it’s not that bad.

They got a new teacher. And there is a project where the students can help children in need. The only one volenteering is Via
