staff on Tomo Sakurai's official Twitter have shared that she has passed

she had been undergoing cancer treatment, her condition suddenly worsened and she was admitted to the hospital earlier this month, she passed away on August 13 2025. She was 53

Tomo Sakurai was Mylene's voice actor, and also occasionally sang for her as well. She was also notably Hinowa in Gintama and Cynthia in the Pokemon anime, and one of the idols in the original Lemon Angel anime
