Abel turned around to look at Levi and says nothing about the stray tear that had fallen. The man never was much of a conversationalist nor was he one to comment on the appearance of a person, unless it's warranted or he couldn't help himself.
"I wouldn't mind a hug," he chuckled as he waves off the other's worries, "And I'm just being a decent person for someone in need. So feel free to make yourself at home here." Abel then hums softly at Levi's smile, walking into the room.
"You're welcome."
fallensonabel:
“I wouldn’t have mentioned it if I didn’t.”
Abel continues walking, humming softly and waving a little to some of the other artists present. He even waved to the patrons present and stops in front of a door as he heard Levi’s voice.
The younger couldn’t help but smile shyly at that and tilts his head. “I try..I do what I can to help.” As Levi held his hand out again, Abel chuckled as the other male introduced himself again before taking his hand once more.
“Again, it’s nice to meet you, Levi,” he greets, “I’m Abel. 29 years old, I also like to read and as you can see; draw. Also, yes..I have no problem with that here. Art is about self expression or just the freedom of it.”
With the knowledge of Levi being without a home, Abel opens the door to a decent sized room. It was a simple place and well lived in by the looks of there being papers as well as books scattered about although neatly.
A tear ran down the reaper’s face. Truly, Abel was a good man. And maybe he was developing a little bit of a crush on him. It was hard to say. He had only had interest in one person before, and he had been killed before it could go anywhere. He was still relearning his emotions now that he was back as a reaper.
“I would hug you if you find that acceptable. But we just met and I fear you wouldn’t. You have truly been a life saver, Abel. You are truly an amazing person who deserves all good things in life.”
He smiled brightly and brushed the tear away.
“Thank you.”

fallensonabel:
“Of course.”
The light blush crossing the other’s face and seeing his smile had Abel hum in content, holding his sketchbook close to himself before taking a glance around the gallery.
“I wouldn’t mind that you did both,” he said quietly, “Feel free to do as you please.” He didn’t mind that Levi worked here but Abel couldn’t help but feel odd around him. There was a certain…aura around the latter but he didn’t question it and just went with it.
Now with the mention that he doesn’t have a place, the gallery owner only swayed on his feet and tilts his head. “I don’t mind,” Abel murmured while going to nudge him towards a room, “Plus I have a hidden room here that I stay in when I don’t go home. You can live in there if you want.”
“You would let me stay here too?”
Such kindness had never been shown to him in his mortal life. His eyes soften as he looks towards Abel now.
“You are a truly kind soul.”
He clears his throat now and holds out his hand.
“I forget if I told you my name or not. Levi Owens. I’m 30, and enjoy reading and writing. I’m gay, but by some of the art here, I see you have no problem with such things.”
He scratched the back of his head with his free hand.
“The gay thing is why I’m out on my own without a place. Things happened with my family and I lost everything.”

Unaware of the latter having seen his past life, Abel pulls away with a hum, and he tilts his head slightly. Hell, he himself is completely oblivious about himself, which is natural, but the only thing he’s aware of is the fact that he has a brother. Said brother is god knows where and doing god knows what.
“Oh, yes,” he smiled some more, “I’m in need of security. My last guard had left on such short notice..unless you’d rather have a simpler job like being a janitor.” Abel wasn’t too pleased with the idea that he was being stolen from, so he dealt with it. “Your help however you choose to do so is greatly appreciated, Levi.”
A soft chuckle left him at the smile, and he taps his foot slightly.
“As for a computer? You can go on the computer in my office. Or even to the library.”
“You…would offer me a job?”
A light blush covered Levi’s cheeks as he smiled brightly.
“I could do both. I don’t sleep much, anyway. And cleaning would be a good way to wind down from doing security.”
He rubbed his neck.
“I…don’t really have much of a place, so being at work most of the time is better than being there. That is, if you don’t mind it.”

The way Levi had casually mentioned that his father is dead didn’t bother Abel in the very least. He could assume that the other male didn’t have an all too great relationship.
“Well, it’s up to you if you want to start now,” Abel offered and tilts his head slightly at the smile before returning it some.
The compliments made the male smile a little more and glances over towards his artwork. “Thank you,” Abel said quietly and looks over to the stranger again. “I try to and I’m sure you can if you tried.”
Watching him reach out to him, Abel took the taller’s hand in his own.
“I’m Abel.”
“Abel…”
As his hand is taken…the other’s past life as the Son of Adam and Eve flashes behind his eyes. He’s curious. He doesn’t know everything about the man before him, but he knows who he used to be. Not who he is.
“Listen…are you looking for a janitor or something? Someone to help out around here? I’m looking for a job and…to be around this much beauty would be amazing. I understand if you’re not, though.”
He offered up a small smile.
“Though, maybe you could help me. Not many people post in the classifieds anymore and…being new to town I don’t know where I can get access to the internet.”

The younger was surprised to say the least by Cain not immediately pulling away. Sure, he could've done it as he approached as well but now that he's this close to him and hadn't pulled away still? There's something wrong with the vampire. Each and every thing said to him did bother the younger but he sucked it up, chalking it up to his brother hating him.
He still doesn't know why.
Abel stood in silence with the ancient, still holding his face until Cain moved to his shoulder. He then rests his hands weakly on the elder's back. "Is there anything I can help you with..?"
@fallensonabel
"Abel?" Cain called out. Not loud enough, apparently, there was no answer nor noise of the other's approach. The ancient grew impatient. "ABEL!!!" He screamed at the top of his lungs, his voice echoing down the halls.

Abel is always a busy man, especially when it came to the art gallery. He’s always tending to his own art or even others’ art pieces that he’s allowed to he submitted here since he’s the owner of the gallery.
What he didn’t know was that someone had stepped into the gallery as he was doing a drawing where he’s seated, hat obscuring half of his face as well as his hair. Soft scratches of the graphite against paper could be heard if close enough to him and yet, he still hadn’t noticed the newcomer until he heard his voice.
Finally looking up, Abel tilts his head slightly and hums. “Oh. Hello,” he greets while shutting his book and nods. “I am. But not everything here is mine since I also allow other artists to display their creations as well.”
“I’ve never tried my hand at art. My father was always against it. He’s dead now.”
His father had been the first soul he reaped. He had taken great joy in bringing him to Hell for his sins.
Turning his head to look at the artist, he smiled softly.
“There is so much emotion in your work. It’s truly breathtaking. I wish I had skill like that. To bring life to canvas or paper.”
Slowly, he held out his hand.
“I’m Levi.”

Levi knew a few things.
He knew he had been killed by his father for his sexuality. He knew he had lived for a time as a ghost, and that he had ascended into being a reaper. This came with challenges. Reapers could chose to lived among the living, as they themselves were living beings. Which meant that Levi needed to find a place to live, and a job to pay for it.
He was good with music. He had an amazing voice. He could also play guitar. But he doubted it would take him far.
Roaming the ‘help wanted’ listings in a classic newspaper, he looked up to see an art gallery.
Something pulled him.
His feet carried him inside, and when he saw the art…he fell in love. It was truly amazing.
“Hello, uh…hi. Are you the artist?”

Abel's slight irritation had disappeared as soon as he saw his brother's shift in attitude.
"Cain," he mumbled while walking up towards the ancient and goes to cup Cain's face. Abel then pressed his forehead against the elder's with a sigh, not caring that the other's red tears had fallen on his hands. "What's wrong?"
@fallensonabel
"Abel?" Cain called out. Not loud enough, apparently, there was no answer nor noise of the other's approach. The ancient grew impatient. "ABEL!!!" He screamed at the top of his lungs, his voice echoing down the halls.

He heard him but also didn't respond the first time, not really wanting to reply to Cain. Why bother? Abel remained silent in his room, legs crossed as he flipped a page in a book and he lets out a sigh as soon as Cain called his name again before replying tiredly.
"What do you want, Cain? Any other time you don't want me around and yet when I don't answer you, you get pissy." Getting up after shutting his book, Abel moved to walk out of his room and peeks out. "Why do you bother?"

By reblogging this, I'm giving you permission to come into my inbox and be as mean as you'd like to my muse(s).
Send them anons that make them have to make a difficult choice (saving one of two people with no allowance of self sacrifice and consequences if they don't choose, etc.) Or hit them where it hurts (They don't feel good enough for an S/O? Use that to your advantage and make them deal with emotions.)
By reblogging this, I'm acknowledging these may go too far but that's a chance I'm taking. Use this to help me determine how my muse(s) would react and find their insecurities that even they may not know about.
TL;DR; You have the chance to be as mean to my muse(s) as you want to make them deal with emotions.
