Humpty snickered, shrugging as he kept walking, "Oh, it's nothing you would care about. After all, it is just Elliot is it not?" The Chain smirked and pushed the other away before he disappeared. It'd be fun to torment his contractor a little. What's a little honesty going to hurt?

"Well, whatever his reaction may be, he won’t find out about it because I don’t intend to tell him." He sighed and blinked, furrowing his brow as he brushed past him, tilting his head slightly. "..What do you mean by that." he asked, following him.

"I wonder what Elliot would do if he found out about that, hm?" He snickered, shrugging, "I'm sure he'd love to hear you say that you'll give up if he were to die any time soon!" Humpty brushed pass the other, "Then soon enough his right eye will be mine as well."

"I’m aware." He rubbed his forehead and sighed, shrugging slightly. "That doesn’t change my decision, though. As long as I have been fighting it..well, my reason for it won’t be here. I don’t see a reason to try if he can’t be physically here with me."

"Well. There’s no reason for me to fight when Elliot is gone..he’s the only person I care about." He sighed and blinked when he took his glasses off of him, reaching up and snatching them back from him, placing them on the bridge of his nose. "Mmh."

The raven snorted, waving a hand, "Though, with you I can't say I'm all that surprised." He snickered and took Leo's glasses before raising them above his head. "I know you're about as stupid as my contractor. Just in different ways of stupidity."

”..I know I am.” At this point, he was just responding to Humpty’s taunts the same way he responded to the Glens in his head. I know, it’s true, you’re right. He sighed, rubbing the bridge of his nose and shaking his head. “No..I’ll more than likely..let myself become Glen..I don’t want to go back to the orphanage..I’d have no reason to stay here..there’s not other option for me when Elliot is gone.”

But now that I know Levi's Humpty practically I just kind of look at the pictures like the Humpty's licking Elliot, I just sit here like: So this man who's over one hundred fucking years old is harassing Elliot? He's already dealt with Ernest and Claude thanks to using his contractor as a puppet. If anyone else laid their dirtied hands on the boy, Humpty would have no choice but to protect the brat.

”..I already blame myself everyday. The guilt never leaves me. I know I’m selfish.” He took a deep breath, adjusting his glasses slightly. “If there had been another way to save him, I certainly would’ve taken it. But there was no other way..” He looked down, taking a deep breath to calm himself. “I couldn’t lose him..but I will lose him..”

But, Humpty was capable of having two more scents. He smirked and hopped down from the landing, circling about Vincent. "Demios and Dormouse."

The Chain sighed softly, "I glanced over and it looked like the idiot was going to attack you. I couldn't have that, they'd kill me if I so allowed to!" He smirked, "You're the cause of putting him into that contract though. Because you're a selfish little boy. You should be blaming yourself and not me."

"You’re the one that jumped to the conclusion that he was attacking me, which I’m not sure how you reached it since I came there with him." He sighed, swatting at him and grumbling a bit. "I know you are, but you don’t do a very good job of it. You almost killed my best friend. I don’t appreciate that."
