when i try to tell others about voices in my head they always assume the worst.

my headghosts are nice, they don't tell me to hurt myself. quite the opposite, actually.

i like my headghosts. they're almost always there for me. i think i want to buy one of them a plushie to hug one day.

headghosts and me

i have voices in my head. i've had them for as long as i remember. i didn't think they were special... people around me described theirs as "thinking" and an "internal monologue".

i think i'm a headghost as well. there's 5 (five (5)) of us in here. i think.

life is survivable like this, maybe. sometimes the others wants a turn at living and they take over. i don't know or remember what they do during their turn, but it's ok. they're nice.

sometimes i blackout for months at a time, and when i return, many things change. friendships with people usually fizzle out while i'm gone. people get mad at me for things i don't remember. things i promised them. bad things i did to them. i can't explain.

i think headghosts are nice. they provide company where people don't. most people won't understand though.
