one time i was working at a drive through that was chick-fil-a style (with the person standing outside with a tablet and such) and this man in his 40s came through and gave me the usual “you must be hot sitting out in this sun, you must’ve drawn the shortest straw.” except it kinda confused me when he said it because it was 9 pm and FUCKING DARK OUTSIDE
