did you follow any courses (or video classes) to get to your level? asking as a self taught artist that really wants to go to art school, thank u!

I didn’t use any specific course, its more of dedicating like 3 hours per day of sketching/painting. What helped is looking at blocking colours and understanding how light sources work!! It totally changed my life

how did you practice with colouring and shading?

I would look at lighting references on Pinterest and go through gradient maps. And for some reason i would constantly paint vegetables and apples😭 theres so many references of them so i just copy/study
