Homeschooled from 2-8th grade
Just curious, also put in the tags if you were homeschooled. Yes there were so many more than these but they were the first ones off the top of my head

Could you please advertise this in the pro-life servers? December 9th is soon and I don't want anything bad to happen. Not sure if the previous child already suffered, but I wish only good for both, for all babies
p.s. it looks like an intro at first but scroll down and you'll see the fundraisers
I was confused at first but I see you’re referring to this fundraiser:
Even though the previous fundraisers didn’t raise enough, I’m hoping they were able to help the mothers choose life and support them through their pregnancy.
Donate if y’all can! Help these women in their time of need.

My two cents. If you don't feel like you can attend Mass yet, go spend time in the Church during adoration. It's a good way to spend time with the Lord without the pressure of so many other people around.
I need advice. I abandoned Catholicism over 5 years ago due to trauma. I recently decided to try to reconnect with my faith and get closer to God but I don’t know where to start.
This is really going to depend on whether you are a baptised and confirmed Catholic or not. I'm saying this because I know a lot of adults that were baptised and who for whatever reason, didn't get confirmed.
In both instances, I would recommend reaching out to your local Church and ask to have a discussion with the local Priest who will be able to advise you on your next steps. If you are a baptised and confirmed Catholic, then he's likely going to ask for you to arrange to attend Confession, as well as recommending going forward that you attend Mass where possible. This way, going forward after your confession, you will be able to receive Communion. It may be possible that he can also recommend you some resources that speak to your particular situation.
Some Churches are certainly in better positions than others with regards to providing ongoing support. If the Church has any Bible studies, or would let you enrol in RCIA even as a fully baptised and confirmed Catholic then I would recommend getting involved in them when they're up and running. It can provide a lot of support and guidance.
--
If you are only baptised, then your next steps would be enrolling into the RCIA program when it's up and running. Because if you're not baptised AND confirmed, then you're unable to participate in the Sacraments of Communion and Confession.
--
Something I would also recommend doing is developing a prayer rule. These should generally only be established with the help of a Priest, so I would recommend asking the Priest you reach out to for better advice on where you should start. But something that would be beneficial would be to have a morning and/or nightly prayer where you say the Our Father 3x as well as the Hail Mary 3x. (This should serve as a baseline, if you feel the need to add other prayers that address something you're going through that day, then do but please don't try and establish a long lengthy prayer rule. It should be short and manageable).
I would also recommend reading small parts of the four Gospels: Matthew, Mark, Luke and John daily until you finish reading them all. You don't have to do the prayers and Scripture readings in one go, definitely spread them out throughout the day if that's easier. And only start with small bitesize chunks of Scripture. It's better to read a small amount each day than to read a huge chunk and then not pick the Bible up again for weeks on end.
Once you've finished reading them, I would recommend going to https://bible.usccb.org/bible/readings/120123.cfm. Each day, read the daily readings. These are the readings used in the Mass for that day. And draw from the Old and New Testament. I would still recommend reading outside of those, but these can be a good starting point.
An alternative (to the second part) would be to work your way through the Ascension presents - Bible in a Year playlist: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLeXS0cAkuTPqFMtZQ379qdEmcfxO1SvXc . Commentary and prayer is provided alongside the readings, and you might find this helpful. And you could always have this playing in the background while you get ready in the morning / before bed.
--
If you don't feel ready to attend Mass yet, that's okay. I would still recommend reaching out to the Priest and talking about your situation with him. And incorporating prayer and Scripture into your life is so important. Don't feel like you can't pray or read the Bible just because you don't feel ready to attend Mass.
Spending time with the Scripture and spending time in prayer is a really good means of reconnecting with the faith. Especially because you can take things at your own pace. Don't feel like you aren't doing enough. Starting off slow and steady is always going to be better than trying to jump into everything all at once and burning yourself out. God bless you on your journey!
Also if you're interested in religious books that explore themes such as mental health issues and trauma, then I would recommend checking out this list: https://hislittleflower-throughconcrete.tumblr.com/post/161442647997/i-have-no-idea-if-youd-actually-know-but-is

I hate to say “go inform yourself on this terrible evil thing” but you really should know what’s happening to Indi Gregory.
(She’s an eight-month-old baby with a mitochondrial issue. Britain’s NHS is ordering that she be removed from care and die. Italy has granted her citizenship and is willing to fly her there for special treatment at no cost to Britain. She is not a ward of the state or anything; her parents want to take her to Italy. NHS and the British court system won’t let her go. At least three other infants and a 19-year-old girl have died this way.)

You know when this all started coming to light, I fully expected that leftists would try to downplay the horrific violence by acknowledging that it was "bad and our hearts go out to the victims and their families, but......" or by making a sharp distinction between civilians and soldiers (or even like, minors and adults), but the thing that's fucked me up is that nope! We sailed right past any attempt to even pretend at human decency and cut straight to "they deserved it."
Even the kids?? Yep, even the kids.
Like Jesus H. Christ y'all.
I'm used to people feeling like they need to at least gesture vaguely in the direction of giving a shit about Jewish lives and not justifying actual terror tactics and war crimes on civilians (you'd think for consistency's sake they might care about looking like they care for the credibility but..) even if we both know they really don't actually care about antisemitism in a meaningful way. We both know that they won't be there when it actually counts, and they sure as fuck aren't going to interrogate their own personal or group's antisemitism. But usually there's a fig leaf. There's at least a baseline assumption that they should care about antisemitism and Jewish people staying alive, even if they don't actually, so they'll say the minimum amount of correct sounding words and then quickly skedaddle onto whatever it is they actually care about.
And like, is that good? No, it's not. It's not good enough. I'm sick and fucking tired of people doing juuuuuust enough to pretend to care without ever addressing the real underlying issues.
But this? This totally floored me. This drops that baseline assumption that antisemitism and murdered Jews is a bad thing entirely and blatantly sides with literal actual terrorists committing unspeakable horrors while holding it up as "liberation."
And what's worse? Most of those were the further out fringe types (although there were a horrifying amount more than I expected) right? Most everyone else wasn't spouting off about how happy they were that vive la révolucion, right? You know what was really deafening?
The silence from everyone else.
Literally everyone except for maybe one or two gentiles I remember seeing kept their mouths shut. Everyone else? Not a goddamn word about how fucked up it was that people were crowing over our people's fresh corpses. The bodies hadn't even cooled yet and we had jackasses on here publicly celebrating with memes and gore videos, and not a word from 99.9% of you.
The people who did speak up? You have no idea how much it means, and I'm grateful. Truly.
Everyone else who was too gutless, spineless, or oblivious to realize how critical a moment this was for support and/or was more interested in protecting your image or whatever?
Let's just say: duly noted.
I may continue to work alongside you (what choice do I have?) but the trust is gone.
We're clearly on our own, with rare exception.
(This is a vent post I will not be adding any caveats to it and I will be blocking anyone who tries to be an asshole. I will lock reblogs if there's any discourse. Our lives are not up for debate you sick fucks.)

Look, I never expected to see Merlin again ok!?!?!?!
AND DAN AND PHIL ARE BACK???
I started this year making a meme about John Green being back and I thought that would be the wildest thing to happen this year... Clearly I was wrong. I feel like the universe is just confused about what year it is... I'm in my mid 20s now and I don't need to be going through this again.

Wouldn't the abortion industry damage men's view of women because instead of taking responsibility for impregnation, they can just pay a few hundred dollars to make the problem go away...
you care more about cluster of cells than about a fact that pornographic industry damages men view of women
I am actually anti porn as well but thanks for the excellent example of a logical fallacy. The existence of other societal issues doesn’t lessen the negative impact of abortion. Do people who do cancer research not care about other fatal diseases ?

Maria Goretti, please pray for Miriam!
Update On Miriam
Once again, @cheerfullycatholic, @prolifeproliberty, @the-hour-of-our-deaths and @ave-immaculata, please reblog this.
The Good: Miriam is now back in her house.
The Bad: Her mum is threatening suicide, she's going to move out with her stepdad and the stepbrother who got her pregnant and she's urinating blood so she's either got a urinary tract infection or a miscarriage.
Please pray for all involved, for their safety and temporal and eternal salvation.
Jude Thaddeus, Dymphna, Blessed Virgin Mary, Joseph, please pray for us
The saint list has gotten shorter because I'm getting increasingly serious about converting to Orthodoxy, and so I'm limiting myself to ones recognised by the Eastern Orthodox Church. Of course, Catholics, feel free to add yours.
