"Oh your brother is in the city? Perhaps I have met him or my brothers have. What is his name, kind sir?" Joy asks "My name is Joy of the Lee Moons. I do not mind helping you find your brother."

"Oh no, that's not good." Joy coos "I'm pretty new here myself but maybe I can help?"

"I am lost. Very lost indeed." He sighed, finding a tree to plop down in front of.

"That's very true. I do love a self aware man." Joy hums as she sips her drink "I never really thought about it like that. Fae are known to be very shameless, you know. We just have to contain our true nature in this realm because of the rules of the society we live in."

"Modest too, it seems." Joy giggled.

Joy would be lying if she said that she wasn't terrified when her brothers told her that Malachi was in town. She had seen how much it had hurt Joel when the ex Knight his Skylar away for so long and Skylar shut off their bond. It killed her to see her strong big brother so broken.

Joy came to the human realm after Skylar had gone into hiding so she wasn't even sure that her adoptive brother even knew she was there. Still she wanted to see him with her own eyes, talk to him and make sure he was ok so she decided to make her way to Genius Lab where her brothers said he was hiding out today.

Joy walking into the swanky building, seeing platinum and gold records handing on the walk and Grammys in a display case. Joy was impressed with Skylar's soulmate's achievements even though she had yet to meet the elusive Eric Kim. A young Fae sat at the front desk and she smiled at him. "Hello. I'm Joy, Joy Lee Moon. I'm actually here to see my brother Sky. Is he here?" She asks.

After chatting with the young Far on the easy to Eric's office, Joy knocked before going inside. "Hello big brother." The youngest Lee Moon smiled sheepishly with a little wave.

Skylar sat quietly on the couch in Eric's office. He had one leg pulled to his chest, resting his cheek against his knee. Atti, Eric's new receptionist sat there keeping him company, rambling on and on about all sorts of things really. Skylar found him quite endearing. And...well....the rambling was sort of comforting in a strange sort of way. Which is why, Skylar supposed, Eric put Atti there in the first place.

He could feel so many emotions swirling inside him. Knowing that they were not all his own. He kept the bonds wide open, needing to feel his soulmates through them. Needing to know they were there. That nothing had happened to them. It was an unsettling thing to do, and he knew that. But he bore it anyway.

He'd obediently let Eric whisk him away to safety. That safety just happened to be at Genius Labs. And it made Skylar feel very small.

Atti who sat at Eric's desk was folding paper, making origami. He made a triumphant sound, holding up a bird for Skylar to see.

The door to the office opened and both of them looked to see who it was.

"Indeed. And who knew this city had so many different places to eat? It was hard to choose but I think I chose well." Joy grins. "They might be a little sore with me at first because they told me to stay put but my Queen gifted me a safe way out that wouldn't be detected so maybe that will ease their worries."

"Yes, I just arrived actually. I came to surprise my brothers but I grew hungry during my search for them." Joy giggles.

"This is." Joy smiles "Is this your creation?"

"I admit that I wasn't sure what any of it was so I chose what sounded nice." Joy giggles "I'm glad it turned out well."

"I have to agree. It was the first place I came across in my search for my brothers. Is the owner Fae? I taste hints of home in their cooking. It's lovely."

"Oh you're a doctor?" Joy grins "I love babies. I was a midwife back home."

“Sorry about the mess.” He said gesturing to himself. “Just delivered a baby before i got off. 7 pounds 6 ounces. Perfect little baby girl.”
