me when I feel guilty about the nature of my existence and what had led up to it so I attempt to "atone" by bringing back relics of the distant past. Expect a LOT of oc posting soon!! >:] i've been thinking of my rw ocs, both new and old, a LOT, and have also heavily revamped the Frayed Ends' local group (formally Rain world: Notos) lore, mwahahaha

Vines, the other major high ranking council member of Interpolated Assemblies' city! Lore beneath the cut below!! I'll be compiling all the revamped/new lore in an updated masterpost soon! :D

Vines had always been a very spiritual individual, having been a monk before getting into politics, they had eventually become a high ranking council member of the city of Interpolated Assemblies, alongside Cumulonimbus Clouds, Hung Overhead, the two ... Never got along, having seemingly opposite views on the iterators.

Eventually, a crisis struck, unknown at the time, shifting faults underneath IA's superstructure had caused the groundwater to shift away from her pipes, while there was still... just about enough groundwater to keep Interpolated Assemblies functioning, it was still the absolute bare minimum, there was very little to be spared for the citizens that lived atop her city. Which!! Was a major problem! Obviously, their reserves wouldn't last forever, after all!

Despite that, Vines inisted that they continued allocating as much water as possible to IA's processes despite the shortage they're facing, believing neglecting or ignoring the needs of the iterator would essentially be biting the hand that fed them, they viewed the iterator as a holy being, and believed that their own kind was dependent on her as one would be to a god.

Nimbus! Was very, very pissed with this... Vines' stubbornness on the matter led her to take matters into her own hands, she formed a riot, storming into the structure of Interpolated Assemblies, and began wrecking her from the inside, damaging several important components of the superstructure in the process, permanently! Fun!

In the aftermath of the riots, Nimbus' actions had been declared sacrilegious and deplorable, she had been stripped of her title, and exiled to the lands below. After Nimbus' exilement, Vines became the highest ranking member of Assemblies' city, being the one to order and overlook her repairs up until The Mass Ascension put all of it to a hault....

Not sure if I ever posted about this before, and if I did please forgive me ^^;, but every so often I think about how inspectors seem to be as long/big as sky whales, I know the sizes in rain world tend to overall be a bit nebulous and wonky so take this with a grain of salt all things considered, but I'm absolutely incorporating "inspectors are whale sized" into my belief system >:]
