college is great bcos it makes me write for myself more. however, the conditions that make me write for myself more are also the conditions that make me no longer want to exist in my flesh suit. i sense a tension.

there is a special kind of loneliness that comes at the end of summer. even as the sun’s warmth lingers, there’s a quiet feeling that something has slipped away. like the last echo of laughter carried off by the wind. this time of year always brings a touch of sadness & melancholy but within that sadness, there’s also this strange comfort. a hope that despite the ending, new beginnings are just around the corner

You say you want a sensitive butch but are you going to hold them when they sob uncontrollably from the traumas in their life, are you going to make sure that the voice in their head telling them off for being that vulnerable isn't the only thing they can hear, are you going to reward their vulnerability by stepping up and being an active caregiver in their life?
So many butches I know just like me are controlled and contorted by their fear. Their fear of being othered, of being perpetrators of hatred and aggression, of showing any number of their personality traits that are considered unbutch and weak.
So please. If you are lucky enough to have a butch in your life this is your sign to reward their vulnerability. Reward it with your touch with your time and your thought.
[This post is written by and for trans women butches, fuck off my post]

I know I talk a lot about nonbinary lesbians, butches with funky genders, lesbians who use pronouns aside from she/her but
I wanna take a second to appreciate the lesbians — especially black and butch lesbians — who consider themselves to be women. The lesbians who were denied womanhood, but carved out a place in womanhood for themselves. The lesbians who wear their she/her pronoun pins as a badge of pride. The ones who see their womanhood as a source of strength. You are incredible and I am so proud of you.

Almost twice as many people died from COVID-19 in 2021 than all unintentional accidents. COVID-19 is the third leading cause of death. COVID rates are on the rise.
The least you can do is wear a mask.
