going absolutely crazy over the dorian romance letter again btw.

his base inquisition ending lines are a parody of his feelings. like a painfully obvious parody because he Can’t say i love you so he says “you are incredibly dull and i hate you, and i hope this ends soon”

in trespasser, he calls the inquisitor “the man i love” - which is closer! but when everyone thinks the inquisitor is going to die, and the inquisitor says his final “i love you”, dorian curses at him! he can’t bring himself to say it!!

Potential Dragon Age: The Veilguard Spoilers but something about Faerin and Dorian’s conversation before going to stop Elgar’nan just alters my brain chemistry.

Afterwards I thought a LOT about this interaction and I was talking to a mutual of mine too because of it.

In the Trespasser DLC the Inquisitor’s anchor gets worse and is at the risk of killing him, but he doesn’t really express his concern to Dorian or anyone else.

Hence this line -

Dorian: Why didn’t you say something? I could have.. I don’t know. Something.

With this in mind, I have come to the conclusion that Dorian worries (perhaps maybe a bit too much but in a sweet sort of way) about Faerin because of Trespasser and alsooo due to the fact his partner is bad at expressing himself.

I love these two idiots.
