At some point you have to actually hold the thing steady in your hand otherwise it will slip through your fingers. Not the idea of it, but the thing itself. And praise that you can hold it at all. To understand how much determination it takes to grasp life in its fullness and. Turn it around sensing feeling the weight the reality not just desperately picking up the next closest thing based on ideal breeding emptiness. The ideals form through their imperfect cultivation alongside tremendous amounts of pain and effort and that’s that. I don’t know. The art of gratitude and acceptance and TRUE love of life and something or other— that’s hard, that’s endless, the willingness to see where deception and distraction sneak in to pry it from your fingers ! To be so ruthlessly honest! And then to still laugh at the end of the day. The marvelous play. The work of a lifetime.
