Oh god my tummy hurts! XD That was the best freaking D&D session!!!!! All of the party except for the cleric entered a library and I asked if Ick could look for a book on dragons. He failed the roll to find anything relating to dragons and instead found a book about lock picking written by a famous author. I asked if I need to roll anything to see if Ick learns anything from the book which was the wrong book to begin with and I got a nat20 XD GM then rolls to see how much I learned and also rolled a nat20 which means we both rolled a nat 20 each! So by accident Ick got a +2 to lock picking in this session while looking for info on dragons. I laughed so hard it hurt cause that was such an Ick flavoured accident that worked out entirely in his favor XD

And then it moved to the cleric's turn who was in another part of town. They'd made a deal at an orphanage that if he could take one of the kids with him that he'd buy a bunch of toys and blankets and such to give the other kids and then he'd never return to the orphanage again. Upon returning to the orphanage and giving the kids all the stuff he'd bought em the man he'd made the deal with closed the door on him after saying goodbye and the cleric realizes one of the kids are still outside with him. He asks the kid "arent you going back inside?" to which the kid replies "No, you made a deal with the old man. The deal was you get me" At which point the cleric realizes they just accidentally adopted this kid without even meaning to and is just "Oh for fuck sake that's just my luck!" XD I haven't laughed so much during a session! In the course of a few hours I got +2 on lock picking by accident and we now have a kid!

My little kobold shit "Ick" found a poncho on a ship quite a few sessions ago which he's now wearing over the top of a robe. I never thought about it until I was drawing him with all his updated gear on and then it suddenly dawned on me that the little shit is 2ft tall and as such is probably wearing a child size poncho made for toddlers, and after that I couldn't un-imagine him in more or less serious looking attire except for this random out of place ducky on his poncho XD

Been thinking about Hunter.

I kinda like the idea that being half wood elf means he's got the ability to see people's memories by eating a piece of their flesh, except that he's completely fucking against the idea and will protest about it if anyone even suggests it.

Like if someone dies and a person be all "You'd be able to see how they died right?" Suddenly he's backing away ready to hightail out cause he is NOT eating that!!! Nuh uh! No way he's putting that in his mouth! Find another wood elf cause this one's NOT doing it! Not even a nibble!

I'm thinking about the fact that most elves in D&D don't need to sleep but rather go into a state of meditation to acquire the same rest.

And then I just think about my elf boy Hunter like *surprised Pikachu face* "But have you TRIED it though?! SLEEP IS AMAZING!!!" 

No reverie for Hunter! This guy likes his sleep! :P laying in a toasty bed feels awesome and dreaming is great!

The only negative side of sleep is not wanting to get up in the morning! LOL!

Wellp... I've come to a conclusion. 

Having ran my experiment giving Sorkos his own solo blog I can confirm I find it a heck of a lot easier engaging in RP that way than I do with a multi muse blog.

I'm gunna keep the blogs on fighting-shadows as is as side blogs, but I may make changes on this blog and potentially narrow my muses down to Sorkos, Kyron and then Hunter and Bones together as they're a duo if I even keep Hunter and Bones at all. Not a lot of people seem too interested in those two so I might remove em all together.

When ever I think of kobolds I always imagine them being little feral maniacs, like what would happen if you took a hyperactive breed of dog, hybrid it with a possum, and taught it how to speak human

I finished my drawing of my kobold boy Ick. The dude's a bit of a wild card :P but he's so fun to play in the campaign I'm using him in! I considered writing him on tumblr before, except his broken English and wild almost feral nature would probably make him a little difficult to engage with. It works in the campaign because there's multiple of us engaging and they're all able to keep him under control and influence him to follow their lead. But on tumblr it might be a little harder interacting with a wild kobold like Ick who follows his compulsions and doesn't understand how civilisation works for more domesticated humanoids XD

Been gone for a while, but still using my characters on the side :D

I started working on a reference image for Sorkos who's my tiefling cleric in a D&D campaign who got promoted to OC status. I wanted to draw him bare to show his little spikes underneath and then his armour to show better what his actual armour looks like.

It looks like he's wearing a lot of armour, but he's actually not! LOL! It just looks like a lot cause of his black shirt and cloak.
