Yo. I like women. My pronouns are he / they but in a gay way.

This is a comic I'm making with some friends, and I needed to get a more zoomed in frame so the text was legible on each one.
Let’s play a game
Everyone post the most recent picture in your camera roll. You only get one sentence to justify yourself if you wish. This one is mine.
My boyfriend is rly good at Latin, so I was looking up how to say ‘I love you’ but found this instead :)
Your turn!

About to format my thoughts poorly, ma, look at me go!
Anyhow. Uh. I love going onto a fandom space to see the takes on the complicated woman character I like just to see an overwhelming amount of posts calling her a terrible person. It's like, you go onto a fandom space for a terrible man, and you'll find a million posts explaining how they're traumatized, how this made them influenced in the actions they took. Then a lady does the same thing to a much lesser extent and you'll find essays on how her singular flaw makes her a bad person, if not a bad character. It makes me sad, but really, this just means I gotta be the change I want to see in the world. I gotta draw the angst with the lady that shows how her trauma influences her behavior, and although she didn't take the perfect actions at all points, she tried. Am I strong enough, though. Can I do it. We'll see, I'll probably procrastinate it to oblivion.

one of my favorite books as a kid was this one on speculative zoology/evolution that I loved so much I borrowed it to the point my school had to chase me up on returning it several times. it influenced my early creature art and design and pushed me to delve into my own specbio (on dragons. no surprises there). I loved the informatic entries, all their little lore bits and ecological adaptations; the wild color palettes, their weird little shapes. it was called The New Dinosaurs, by Dougal Dixon.
there were two more books in the series that my school didn’t have, which is either a blessing or a curse, because the third book in the set is called Man After Man.
which contains this.

Dudes shouldn't have to prove themselves by having spartan greyscale homes with dollar store rubber shower curtains and a mattress on the floor. Do you know what life is like with linen

I did an animatic for the extra scene at the end of the latest UTDR newsletter! Please give it a watch!
This is probably the fastest that I've ever turned around an animatic, holy cow. But, I got inspired by that sweet poem, and I wanted to make sure and get this done before I had to leave for the holidays!
A HUGE thanks to the credited folks who helped out with voicework and design on such short notice, too!
