Ollie talking about how Carlos went to the garage and help and guide him through his first f1 race like an overbearing dad 😭❤️
“He was telling them (the engineers) what to tell me basically. So, that was pretty nice.”
“He knows what the driver wants so i found that really useful. He was looking at my driving and giving some pointers, what to change on my driving, and what to change on the car set up itself.”

Something I genuinely have not been able to stop thinking about it how ungodly attractive F1 drivers are.
Like 3 of the most attractive people I have ever seen have been F1 drivers (Nico Rosberg, Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc). And they aren’t outliers. F1 drivers are like weirdly attractive.
And I’m not saying other sports don’t have attractive players. I once met Adam Lowry and was genuinely rendered speechless.
But like. There have only been 776 people that have ever driven in F1. There are like 1000 NHL players every year. There are hot hockey players and there are not hot hockey players. But almost every F1 driver has some form of objective attractiveness, even if they aren’t for me.
Proportionately, F1 is like objectively the most attractive sport ever, even just based on this season alone.
And I wonder if it’s because more than almost any other sport, F1 is reliant on sponsors from the second you enter the sport. You cannot continue in development series without sponsors. No matter how good you are. Like Nico Rosberg drove under the German flag rather than the Finnish flag because it was better for sponsors. It’s an expensive sport and someone needs to pay for it even when you have family money. And I wonder how much being attractive impacts sponsors and if that’s why the drivers are so disproportionately attractive.
