(esp) Crónicas de shooting 1: CHIHIRO IFB

Nunca pensé que este shoot se volvería de mis favoritos ni mucho menos que escalaría en tantas cosas.

Mi idea nació poco tiempo después que me mudé a la ciudad de Vancouver, necesitaba ante tantos cambios algo que estimulara mi mente en lo creativo, el día de producción estuvo acompañado de aventuras en la tienda de dolar, de sushi y de películas de terror que solo se encargaron de agregar más magia a todo esto.

Este proyecto es nuevo para mi pues no tengo realmente mucha experiencia editando video, nunca antes había hecho música y no creo antes haber compartido algún poema o escrito tan personal. He de decir ahora que esta experiencia ha sido tan satisfactoria, me he divertido tanto creando con esto y sobre todo compartiendo algo tan intimo como mi proceso creativo con alguien tan importante como Chihiro que a mi gusto fue la verdadera estrella. He hallado una enorme liberación en crear un mundo a base de estos poemas y verlo materializarse en la piel de personas diferentes a mi. Verlos tomar esta pequeña casa que construí en silencio y hacerla suya y gritarla al mundo por mi. Más de esto vendrá pero puedo decir que este tiene un brillo muy distinto que estoy seguro atesoraré por mucho, mucho tiempo. Así que quiero agradecer a quienes lo vean, a quienes se den la oportunidad de saborear algo de ese brillo que Chihiro y yo hemos fabricado juntos para ustedes y no se preocupen que pronto habrá más.

(Eng) Shooting Chronicles 1: CHIHIRO IFB

I never thought this shoot would become one of my favorites not that it would later evolve into so many different things.

This idea was born shortly after I moved to Vancouver, amidst so many changes my mind needed something to explore and play with.

Production day was filled with dollar tree adventures, sushi and horror movies that later would find their way into the magic of it all.

This is a first timer for me because I had no previous experience editing video, I had never done music on garage band either and surely never had I ever shared such a piece that was so personal to me. I must say the process has been so rewarding, I’ve had so much fun creating this and overall sharing my creative process with someone as important as Chihiro who was such a breakout star.

I’ve found huge liberation in creating a universe based around this stories and poems just to watch them come true through other people’s eyes, words and experiences.

There’s a lot more coming but this one in particular I’m sure I will cherish it for the time coming. So I want to thank whoever takes time to watch, feel and listen, I hope you can taste some of the glimmer Chihiro and me put on this one and I hope its echoes of love and healing resonate through your heart.
