He takes some getting used to. I’m still not sure I really like him. What has he done to make you not like him?

I don’t think I do want to get used to him. He’s the reason this whole thing happened to begin with! He’s the reason my dad died! .. if it wasn’t for him .. then dad would still be here.

Mom? She’s Mockingbird. And .. she died when I was a baby. I don’t remember her at all.

Who’s your team?

When he first got here he was captured by Ultron. But uh, guess you could say he’s back-back. He’s been staying here, keeping an eye on the other kids. 

James, Pym, Azari, Torunn and I. 

Ah, well, good for him.

…I don’t know who they are.

I guess. It’d be better if he wasn’t around though. 

Their parents are Avengers too. James is the son of Natasha and Steve. Torunn is Thor’s daughter. Pym’s .. I think his dad was Giant man? And the Wasp. And Azari’s dad was the Black Panther. And well, you know mine.

Yeah, it’s been quite boring.

Scavengers?

Uh, yeah. Our world is pretty different from yours. Kinda .. a mess really. The scavengers are a group of survivors. You used to lead them but .. well, I kinda do it now.

What happened to your world?

Why don’t I lead them anymore?

Short version? Stark made a robot that took over the world. Ultron got rid of most of the Avengers and practically destroyed the world. Stark escaped to .. actually I don’t even know - to somewhere with the kids of the Avengers. I stayed in the city with yo - my dad. Dad gathered the survivors of the city and taught them how to survive. He took care of them for a long time until .. uhm .. until he died .. so .. I kinda had to do it instead.

And you haven’t heard anything from Stark since he escaped?

No, no. He came back, sorta, a while ago. So did the others. We defeated Ultron. Now we’re trying to clean up the city and destroy the rest of the machines. It’s a slow process but with five Avengers it’s not that hard.

Yeah, I am.

Sixteen but my birthday’s in two days. So that’s one step closer to actually getting older.

It’s going good. I haven’t actually done much of anything lately though.

Really? No work, no avenging stuff? Bummer. Maybe it’ll pick up soon.

Uhm, I’m the leader of the scavengers at the moment. And part of the new team of Avengers we have over here. Other than that .. nothin’ much really. Lots of patrolling and training.
