A low growl bubbles up, deep and guttural. Her ears ring painfully, tiny heart thrashing around against the rib cage like a terrified bird. The head shakes, one hand clawing at the back of the ear, trying to clear it out.

"Wh... at?"

The most desolate mewling you can imagine.

Ears flatten defensively against the deafening noise, spine arched as she rapidly backs away several paces. Everything about the tiny felid's posture, from the bristled fur, to the furiously-lashing tail to the blast of hot air exploding past bared teeth, carries only a single message: Back the fuck up!
