Días antes del 8 de Marzo (Día de la mujer) el gobierno en México puso una valla de metal alrededor del palacio nacional y otros edificios para evitar daños estructurales que pudieran darse en las marchas y protestas del 8 de Marzo contra el feminicidio en México, en respuesta grupos feministas escribieron los nombres de todas las víctimas de feminicidio en dicha valla como protesta ya que el gobierno y el presidente se preocupan más por la protección de los edificios y monumentos mientras que no han hecho nada para parar o disminuir el número de feminicidios en todo el país. El año pasado se realizo la protesta 1 día sin mujeres, donde mujeres en todo el país no realizaron labores de ninguna clase, este paro laboral tuvo un impacto de 30, 000 millones de pesos. Este año debido a la pandemia no todas podrán salir a marchar a las calles, pero se le está invitando a las mujeres a protestar desde casa mediante las redes sociales.

Más de 10 mujeres fueron asesinadas a diario durante enero de 2020. Las cifras destacan que durante el primer mes del 2020 hubo un total de 320 casos de este tipo. (infobae.com)
