Was considered to be a subspecies of the Rufous Antpitta, Grallaria rufula, but was split off in 2020. The Rufous Antpitta has now been separated into 13 different species.

international shipping is so wild because like instinctually your assumption is that it's probably catastrophically bad for the environment but the enormous capacity of the modern cargo ship and the extremely low resistance of being a boat means that even with all the chicanery around burning different grades of fuel in different jurisdictions cargo ships come out extraordinarily efficient per kilogram transported, I think they even beat out trains.

While there are situations where something locally produced or manufactured will have a lower transport carbon footprint than a long distance import, that's by no means certain, especially if you live near a bulk rail station that connects to the coast.

Wanted to share these as I feel like as many people who are familiar with Homestuck as possible should see it. According to this article, The "Homestuck Independent Creative Union" was never independent from Andrew Hussie and he has been consistently leveraging his power and manipulating others to try and get what he wants. In a vain attempt to cover up what he claims are "defamatory statements" and attempt to gain an apology when he really should be the one apologizing, he has made Homestuck largely inaccessible as a whole. I am very disappointed and frustrated right now.

Fuck Andrew Hussie.

Note: I am not an expert or even fairly aware of any drama proceeding this (Around Hiveswap and Sarah Z) but the amount of evidence presented here along with other events lining up with it lead me to believe there is no reason for these articles to be fabricated and are still neccessary to be shared despite anything beforehand. Furthermore, I am a Toby Fox blog and not a Homestuck blog, so my knowledge of the latter is lacking in comparison. I still felt like this was important enough to share, and if I am presented with undeniable proof that either of these articles are untrue I will remove my coverage immediately. I ask that you please treat me with grace as I'm simply intending to inform. (I've had quite a bit of harrassment levied against me before for posting far less, so I hope my caution is understandable.)
