This bird like creature can be found in snowy mountains and places of high elevation, tho they are capable of living in geographically flatter areas as long as they are cold, but it prefers not to Its an omnivore scavenger, opting to feast on what stronger creatures leave, but its quite opportunistic as it will attack anything small and defenseless Its teeth and tongue are kept hidden inside his cranial formation to prevent cold damage, plus the tonge acts as a layer of protection as some vital organs are only protected by the thin layer of the palate in it The feather/leaf wings are an evolutionary leftover of when his species used to fly, now they are mostly there for very minor stability reasons, in case of them being damaged the bird will remove them and live on a relatively normal life Its main method of transport is a semi-flexible, durable, organic hard cartilage structure on its legs, which detaches and its held in the “ski” position via a double joint, then contracts back into the talons through a dense muscle at the base The structure of it is based on being as aerodynamic as possible, including his relatively heavy weight, which allows him to take advantage of the steep terrain it prefers to live in, reaching impressively high speeds It does not interact with humans, as it cannot be caught while in his element, but the few cases where it interacted some people were injured when they got too close

its like a pretty small gecko or something like that, its main gimmick, besides the butterly like proboscis, is the pattern on its body, which makes it appear like a skull of sorts once it stands up: this is done both for intimidation when it finds animals of similar size, but also sexual selection, as the mating dance of the male involves flaunting of such features It can climb, it can run, it can probably do pushups like some lizards do Its not comfortable standing up but it can do it for extended periods if needed, it prefers to move on all 4s Its proboscis basically works like the tongue of a chameleon due to how it uses it to catch insects, but it has the benefit of being prehensile so it can use it to grab other stuff too Its very quick and basically silent, but can quickly curl up to make the “teeth” on his torso “chatter” Very strong grip, can jump quite high, its very small but quite strong, even if it doesnt engage in fighting unless its for survival

he is a bunch of roots he can only really feed on liquids and semisolids the skull is there only for intimidation/camouflage his legs are the closest thing to a mouth it has, they are tubes that he uses to drink and poke things he is around 80cms tall and it runs away from anything bigger than him

it only really consumes water, blood from small rodents, corpses and mud if it comes from mineral rich ground its relatively smart for a scavenger omnivore intelligence similar to that of a crow can be befriended but runs away before anyone does it

The flower can bloom depending on the season and conditions Has a distate for slugs, snails and catterpillars
