i think the added element of secrets could be fun!

i  totally  agree!  i  think  a  secrets  component  would  keep  things  interesting  with  maybe  an  anonymous  gossip  blog  threatening  to  expose  secrets  in  some  way!  as  of  right  now  the  plan  is  to  put  excesstv  on  a  temporary  hiatus,  while  everything  is  revamped  (  maybe  2  -  3  weeks  depending  on  everything  )  and  then  relaunch!  current  members  who  are  interested  are  more  than  welcome  to  keep  their  sports  or  reevaluate  when  the  time  comes.

yes,  revamping  has  definitely  been  on  my  mind!  with  the  holidays  around  the  corner,  it  might  be  a  great  time  to  give  the  rp  a  mini  break  to  allow  everyone  to  focus  on  their  schedules  and  come  back  refreshed.   nothing  is  set  in  stone  yet,  obviously.  but  the  idea  would  be  during  this  pause,  we  could  take  the  opportunity  to  give  the  rp  a  makeover  —  tweaking  any  areas  that  need  improvement,  incorporating  member  feedback,  and  potentially  adding  new  elements  to  enhance  the  overall  experience.  feel  free  to  let  me  know  what  you  think  one  way  or  another  <3  as  i'm  not  planning  to  have  a  decision  set  in  stone  until  this  weekend.

can i ask why tasks count for two interactions? it feels counterintuitive to say someone can only do one reply in a week and be considered active

the  goal  is  to  encourage  everyone  to  explore  their  muses  beyond  just  threads,  as  that  can  feel  a  bit  repetitive  or  mundane  for  some,  and  tasks  can  help  develop  their  muse  when  stuck.  allowing  tasks  to  count  as  two  interactions  for  the  week  also  encourages  people  to  actually  do  them  (in  my  opinion  at  least).  i  tried  my  best  to  align  tasks  with  in  character  events  happening  that  week,  for  example  the  moodboard  task  in  week  one  was  an  extension  to  the  character  introductions,  and  the  wardrobe  template  is  tied  into  the  recent  event.  there  also  will  not  be  a  task  every  week  (it  just  happened  to  work  out  that  way  this  time),  but  so  far,  most  people  who  have  completed  the  tasks  and  have  also  managed  to  do  more  than  three  replies  each.
