Hi guys!

I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday and a happy new year!

I have a lot to talk about, and I’m going to be as honest as I possibly can.

First off, I want to thank each and every single one of you for being apart of this roleplay. If you’ve been here from the beginning or just for a few months, you’ve all been so wonderful to be in a group with.

However, these last few months have been pretty difficult for me. I never mentioned because I didn’t think it was necessary to talk about (mainly because you guys would’ve never noticed the change in the first place) but I’ve been running this group on my own, officially since Halloween and unofficially for longer than that.

Real talk, it’s extremely frustrating running a roleplay where no matter how much you do, you just feel like you can’t get the roleplay off the ground. I made graphics, I spammed the tags, I made a whole new sideblog to promo just so I wouldn’t flood the main with all of it. Nothing I did was working and I still can’t figure out why. But maybe it just wasn’t meant to be.

As time went on, we lost members and that’s completely understandable. It’s bound to happen. But when you’re already such a small roleplay, it feels like it hits the group harder when people leave. There was a reason I was adamant about not increasing the muse limit unless we got bigger. 

So, I’ve been thinking about this for a while now. I’ve talked to other admin friends and I think this is the right move for us.

As of today, EvolutionHQ will be shutting it’s doors and closing down.

I wanted to stick it out, honestly. I tried to make this place the best it could be. But I just can’t keep putting my energy into something that stresses me out and something I dread logging on to.

I want to thank you all so much for being such wonderful members and lovely people to roleplay with. I will miss you guys and I hope you guys find a new home that you like as much as you liked us. (Might I suggest Champion of Champions.)

Speaking of activity, starting on Monday, (November 25th), we will be starting our “holiday hours”!

What this means, is that throughout the holiday season, we are going to be bit more lenient when it comes to activity checks. We will not be performing actual checks, but we may be checking in with you individually to see how you’re doing. People are busy with work and life. And holidays are stressful, we all know that. I don’t want to add any extra stress to anyone by making you feel like you have to keep up activity. These hours will extend to the New Year, so enjoy your holidays!
