I currently only have 4 if I counted correctly

Number one is Silas!! hes the wolf that I drew :3 he’s kind of mean but its ok he cares he just will throw 10 insults at u and curse your bloodline after giving you your favorite drink . He likes to write poetry in his free time

number two I don’t have a name for 💔they’re a crow therian and have a knack for making jewelry and kandi bracelets and has made matching ones for literally all of their friends. They’re the type to do weird trends , one time someone at my school stole a soap dispenser and I think they’d do that.

3rd I haven’t drawn yet but her name is Ayala and she’s a deer therian. she makes the most awesome chocolate chop peanut butter cookies ever but will never give them to Silas. They’re like frenemies ,, she’s a bit prissy and is a bit afraid to get even slightly dirty but she’s got a good heart

4th I’ve drawn, she’s a fox therian and her name’s basil. She talks big but that’s all she got she will run away at the slightest sign of danger. best friends with Ayala. She plays the piano but actually wants to play the flute instead

this is so comforting to me :] it’s so nice to read that i am valid and im not just being childish, thank u op this is the coolest post ever

be kind to kids (yes, this includes teenagers) who identify as nonhuman, otherkin, fictionkin, therian, alterhuman, or a furry. they are living their life the way that makes sense to them. they don't deserve an "i told you so" if they grow out of identifying that way later on. they don't deserve to be asked "aren't you too old for that now?" they don't deserve to be laughed at and mocked online. children forming a wolf pack aren't hurting anyone. kids who want to meet other kids who identify as nonhuman aren't embarrassing.

kids need a sense of community no matter who they are. kids deserve the right to identify their own feelings. kids are allowed to express parts of themselves adults find "embarrassing". adults are allowed to do all of these things, too, but it's become routine for folks online to mock literal children for embarrassing behavior.

identifying as an animal isn't embarrassing; what is embarrassing is being an adult and picking on literal children. who cares, it's not hurting a singular soul. let them explore identity in ways that make sense to them. identifying as nonhuman isn't a danger to anyone else. they aren't hurting themselves. let them identify as a nonhuman and explore what that means to them. let them live their lives.

living in the northwest is so odd sometimes because im in the warmth and then suddenly it’s cold and damp again and where’s all my fur for this?? I thought i had some

i feel a bit insecure about being so young and being a therian, like maybe im being immature or reckless or whatnot and this isn’t what i actually feel but meeting other people and trying to integrate myself into the therian community really helps

it solidifies that no one is really alone in this experience, that we’re all not human together and i really like that comfort :3
