I made myself a Besom the other day! It sits above my alter keeping the good vibes going. I made it out of locally sourced materials and then blessed it with sage!

I’m not sure how long i should be drying my mushroom in the window for...

I found a golden reishi just growing wild..... amazing!!! these things are super hero’s of medicinal mushrooms! (not trippy but medically significant)

It’s known as the “Chinese Mushroom of Immortality”

I am going to dry it and put it in a jar for use for teas and tinctures!

Hobby explanation!

I really like to find bugs and set them in resin so i can look at them and show them to other people without them getting freaked out about touching a bug! All the bugs I have caught and encased were dead when i found them except for the roaches (they were in my house so they got donated to science).

That green one on the top is a Green June beetle!

Then under him is a rainbow scarab (dung beetle) i’m bummed about him bc the resin bubbles collected on his back so you can’t see his pretty green and red all that well except for from the side..

Next is a Lynn’s cicada! I found him at my work and he is beautiful..

the last bug is a random millipede i found to test my resin skills (still needs improving if you ask me)

I caught australian cockroaches in two different periods of life! Nymph is on the left and adult is on the right... I didn’t know they had pinchers on their asses.... very intimidating. They are in my freezer and ready to be set in resin for their beauty to be studied forever!

HHHEEYYY i’m 21 and life is a construct so why not have a personal blog so I can vent my feelings to strangers (or more likely my FBI man (hi FBI man, hi i’m still on my bullshit))!

Here’s some facts about me(take note FBI man)

🧠I have diagnosed Generalized anxiety disorder, Social anxiety disorder, Major depression, PTSD, Panic and ADHD all bundled in an existential white girl tortilla!

👩🏻‍🎤I think my favorite color is pink but i have no idea because i find myself grabbing for pink very often but also almost equally as often find it obnoxious in the sense that i am 21 and JOJo Siwa already does her thang.

✍🏻 I Like art! or more specifically and generally at the same time i like THE arts! I cannot decide which creative facet serves me the best so i have decided to half ass ALL OF THEM. Sometimes i’ll post my art!! I might even link you to a wattpad story im writing (only 90’s kids will remember)! Also video creation i make youtube videos that are funny SOMETIMES.... i mean they are always funny but I only post SOMETIMES.

🧶🧵I knit, sew, and crotchet with jarring gracefulness and ease... My godmother insisted i know every kind of needle work and be proficient at it by 8 months old. jk but i have been knitting since i was like 6 years old.

🎓I am an educated woman 😏😏.... almost! in a year away from graduating with an english degree from a united states university (good luck stalking me with that kind of vagueness). I used to be a microbiology and cell science major with a minor in bioinformatics! (wow big jump, pray tell what happened???) Depression and existentialism! Thus, an english major was born.

👩🏼‍🔬 I am still very much in love with science! I completed my Bioinformatics minor! So basically low level computer language is my BITCH but then also victorian bodies and psychoanalictic novels. Also i do my own science! I love Mycology and Bugs. Mushrooms are adorable and so are bugs so whocanresist! (except american cockroaches fuck you) (‘but emily what about ALL cockroaches?’) (No, No, No... my friend google Lucihormetica luckae... they look like Jawas for god sake)

💊 I study AND make my own medicine...for fun! it’s fun. Anatomy, herbs, oils, tinctures, potions and foraging(cottagecore ladies 👀)!! My shelves look like an apothecary and nothing is more fun than making your friends think you’re slowly slipping into madness. (also i’d be an invaluable member of your zombie apocalypse team)

♋️ My blog is called “eventuallygetit” because i am ambleing through life blindly and i think we all are and i think that ive been through some really weird and some extremely traumatic situations and i think everybody has.... Anyways life is confusing but i think eventually i’ll get it (SEEEE FULL CIRCLE *magic fingers*)

If i wanna paint every single nail on my fingers a different color and then wear black eyemakeuo but then bright pink lips i’m gonna do it! and i think you should do whatever you want too as long as you’re not hurting anyone physically or psychologically (which is equally as important on this blog).
