Tal-Qadi temple one of the forgotten temples that haven't been rebuilt or developed for tourism (fortunately). I expected it to be a pile of rocks but it's actually pretty well preserved, given the fact that it's 8000+ years old. Probably because it's in a less populated area of Malta. The walls of the chambers are visible as well as the giant stone pillars. The steps are a 'modern' addition.

today I went to explore ancient sites off the beaten path very few people know about and no tourist guide ever mentions. The catacombs of Salina are technically on private property but it is possible to go there free of charge. The burial chambers are carved in the rock and are believed to be of Roman/Punic origin. Nearby there are some cart ruts and an ancient quarry. It's basically a Maltese archeological microcosmos.
