Started watching The Good Place, and I am on Season 3. WHY IS IT TAKING SO LONG FOR THEM TO GET TOGETHER???? LIKE I LOVE SLOW BURN BUT MAN THIS IS AGONNNNYYYY!!! I love it.

The thing about Rebecca's and Roy's relationship is that it is so subtle yet so important. There is a possibility that they might have known longer than they have known the other teammates. Their relationship is built on mutual respect that along the way transforms into friendship and love.

They are similar in some aspects, both of them shut out people when they face any type of problem. Rebecca ignored Sassy and Nora as her relationship with Rupert progressed and then eventually worsened. Roy basically stopped talking to everyone on the team except Keeley and Rebecca after his retirement. Ted even came to say hi and he just drove off.

They know each other and more importantly respect each other. Which is why they do not shy away while telling the other person when they are being a prick or when they need a push.

Exhibit A: Roy telling Rebecca that she deserves more than just fine after their double date.

Exhibit B: Rebecca shouting at Roy after he didn't attend the press conference when he was supposed to.

God I love their relationship.

It is November. My finals are from tomorrow. I have a project report due. My shoulder is hurting and I am sleep deprived. I wanna cry but I don't have the time. Final year of engineering is going great.

SPOILER ALERT FOR RIVALS

I don't want Tony to die. No. I want him to be hospitalized, unable to move, to speak, but to see, hear and understand everything clearly. And then I want his empire to crumble slowly, one piece at a time. I want him to look at it burn to the ground and I want him to feel the despair and hopelessness. I want to see the fear in his eyes. And then I want Cameron to come and slap him and break up with him. And while aaalll this is happening, I want Monica to sit back in that mansion and watch all of the chaos happening, like the queen she is. I want her to tell him about all of his crimes, one day at a time and watch the fear in his eyes. And then after his empire is over, I want her to lean over, smile and pull the plug. Then I want her to sit back in that amazing house and live a life she deserves.

Rewatching Gravity Falls is heartbreaking. In the back of my mind, the thought that Stanley is constantly searching for Ford and having no luck is always there. Like dude must have tried everyday and had literally no one to confide in. He cannot tell anyone the truth. He cannot ask anyone what to do or just you know vent to anyone how much he misses his brother. And when his brother does come back home, the first thing he says is why did he bring him back? Like dude. Imma go cry.

I was re-watching parks and rec, as one does and I thought of making this collage.

Okay so I started watching Rivals and almost every character in it is despicable. But what the fuck is Maud playing at? Like she always has to be the victim in every scenario. I had an affair? Oh that was because my husband did not pay attention to me. It was NOT my fault. I am here in this shitty house because of my husband. My daughter is getting attention. How dare she be alive?

She checks out every man in the town, constantly made moves on Rupert, got offended when he rejected her and then sent her husband to take revenge on him for rejecting her. Oh and all of this happened on her son's birthday where her daughter worked like a servant. Like what!???

She is my least favourite character in the entire show.

Fuck romcom type of love. I want a sitcom type of love. I wanna feel how Leslie feels with Ben. I wanna be in the type of love that Peraltiago is in. I want a man like Gregory Eddie. I wanna know what Janine feels when she is with him. I want to be a part of the sitcom love story.

I understand that many fans are upset about the TV movie. But honestly, I am really glad that we are getting*some* ending. Look I love open endings, but in this case, no one ended up happy. It wasn't an if-fate-wants-they-may-end-together type of situation. Nina and Maggie's relationship can be left to personal interpretation but not Azi and Crowley's.

All I am saying is we could have gone the OFMD/Dead Boy Detectives routes. I mean I still can't believe that we won't get to know if Niko is alive or not. I like the fact that we have a TV movie.

If it ends up being bad, then we can headcanon our own endings.

Some updates about the Good Omens situation- Source: Deadline:

1. Season 3 is no longer happening. The show is now going to end with a 90 minute episode, sort of like a made for TV movie.

2. Neil Gaiman is not a part of the series finale. His production company is no longer involved.

3. A new writer is expected to finish the finale, although as of yesterday, a deal has not been finalised.

4. Rob Wilkins, representing Terry Pratchett’s estate, as well as BBC Studios Productions’ head of comedy Josh Cole will executive produce.

Although the 90 min ep is a bummer, I am happy that they took the allegations seriously. His production company being out is also a good thing.

I know the show means a lot to many people, me included. But the good thing is that we are getting an end. There will be an end. I hope it is a satisfactory end.

I also pray that all the victims are okay.

EDIT:

Neil Gaiman will still be credited as a writer for the series finale. So, he will benefit from the premier as well as the views. So, piracy is the way to go.

From the perspective of River's timeline, by the time The Time of Angels (season 5 episode 4) comes by, River Song knew her mother was Amelia.

Melody Pond had to look at her mother and her husband in the eye only for them to look back at her with distrust and no recognition of who she was.

She had to comfort her mother, who did not know who she was, all while being scared herself. She had to make sure her husband gets away safely, while fighting for her own life.

Melody Pond did not have the privilege of having a "I need a mother" moment, because she had to be her friend.

Rewatching that episode after knowing River's story is just heartbreaking.

My dear Melody Pond, I hope in your next life you live your parents' daughter and not their companion.
