In what industries can engraved EVA lining be used?
EVA linings did not need to be processed by engraving at first. As a shockproof material for product transportation protection, EVA has excellent shock resistance. At the same time, EVA is easy to process and can be easily cut with ordinary knives, which means that people can directly buy EVA sheets and then cut them into the required size with knives according to the packaging needs.
Although this simple method can also provide sufficient protection, for some special-purpose products or for some products that require packaging appearance, direct cutting obviously cannot meet people's needs. For linings of the same shape and with particularly large demand, manual cutting is too primitive, so die-cutting has its place. It can quickly mass-produce EVA linings of the same specification, so it can meet the protective packaging needs of a large number of products in a single packaging form.
However, the die-cutting method also has its shortcomings, that is, it is difficult to meet the processing of packaging linings of different external dimensions on the same lining, especially for products with multiple thickness and depth requirements. On the other hand, die-cutting cannot achieve the one-piece molding processing of EVA inner support. For some products with particularly high precision requirements, engraving is almost the only choice. Although EVA foam cannot achieve the same processing accuracy as metal, for packaging, only engraving can achieve an accuracy of 1mm or even less.
Back to the title, in which industries can EVA engraved linings be used? The answer is actually self-evident. It is applicable to all industries that have requirements for product packaging. Including but not limited to consumer electronics, medical supplies, battery cells, cosmetics, gifts, and wine...

How we produce an EVA insert according to customer requirements
We are often asked a question, how to confirm cooperation and start production?
After receiving the customer's inquiry, we will understand the actual needs of the customer, and then we will recommend the material with suitable hardness according to the customer's needs.
Generally, we will ask the customer whether the customer already has a lining drawing. If there is a drawing, we will recommend the appropriate hardness according to the size and packaging products. Then we will check the drawing, and if there is a position that is not suitable for production, we will suggest the customer to make corresponding adjustments.
If the customer has a lining sample, the customer can send the sample to us, and we will make a drawing based on the sample and send it back to the customer for confirmation.
If there is no drawing or sample, the customer can also send the product to us, we will measure the product for the customer and select the appropriate EVA hardness and thickness according to the product, and then draw a suitable lining packaging drawing, and produce it after the customer confirms.

What are the main processing methods of EVA lining
There are several different processing methods for EVA lining processing;
One is stamping: the stamped eva lining is made with a die and a small stamping machine. If the thickness of the product exceeds 3CM, the four sides may feel concave and convex, and there will be this phenomenon at the position where there are holes on the surface. In addition, the thickness of the stamped product cannot be too thick. If it is too thick, it will make it look ugly and the position where there are holes will feel concave.
Another is carving: the edge of the integrally carved eva lining is straight. If the thickness of the eva lining is 9CM, the four edges can be carved straight, but if it is stamped by a machine, the thickness of 9CM needs to be glued together with two to three layers.
Another is injection molding: this method is rarely used. On the one hand, the mold cost is high, and on the other hand, the molding effect is not very good.

What is the difference between stamped lining and engraved lining?
After I quoted a price to a customer some time ago, the customer casually asked what is the difference between engraved and stamped EVA linings?
At that time, I simply explained it to the customer in terms of positioning, shape and price.
First of all, the engraved EVA lining is positioned more advanced. Usually, when the product to be packaged belongs to the advanced positioning, the engraved one will highlight its value. Because the lining produced by engraving will have better quality and consistency in terms of individual;
In addition, engraving usually adopts an integrated molding processing method, so it works better on some multi-layered and complex linings, while stamping requires layered stamping and later splicing, which is difficult to align one by one.
There is also a difference in price. For some simple shapes and when there is sufficient demand, the price advantage of stamping will be more obvious, because when a set of molds can produce more products, the mold cost can be ignored.
To sum up briefly, the processing method to be used depends on the product positioning and the cost. Both methods have their own advantages.

Test tube liners, two models in one box? EASY!
I only have the test tube samples and a paper box. I want to put 6 large and 5 small test tubes in different quantities. Can it be done?
Yes! We will design a specific plan for you based on your actual product, and then make samples to confirm the details for subsequent mass production. In terms of color, white EVA foam is used, which is more compatible with the paper box overall.

Why is it difficult to deal with the rough edges of EVA engraved products?
When we buy things, of course we like to buy things that are clean. For the product packaging lining, of course we also require it to be clean and without burrs. This is a very common requirement, but for many manufacturers, it is not easy to make EVA lining products without burrs. If it is cut with a knife, it is okay. After all, as long as the knife is sharp enough, the cut product will be smooth and flat. However, the knife cutting process can only cut the product into pieces, and other shapes are to be glued together with glue. Of course, the die cutting process can also be used, which can also reduce burrs, but this can only be shaped on one plane.
If you want to form it in one piece and at the same time meet the requirements of fitting with the product, and multiple accessories are neatly distributed and arranged, then only mold injection molding or engraving production is available. EVA foam is a relatively soft material, and if it is injected with a mold, there will be more burrs on the edge, or water edges. If you want to achieve a clean and simple shape, then engraving is currently the best solution.
And because of the material, if the speed of the equipment is too slow during processing, many fine burrs will be produced, which need to be cut off little by little with scissors later, so the high quality and consistency of the EVA inner tray products cannot be guaranteed. If the speed is too fast, the product will be burned hard due to the heat of the equipment. The speed is closely related to the shape of the product. How to produce EVA foam products that are the same as the 3D drawings is a problem that tests technology and experience.

Should customers understand the product?
Many times, customers just need a certain product, but they don't understand the product at all? Let's take a few simple examples. There are many people driving, but when the car breaks down, customers don't need to know how to repair the car themselves, and they don't even need to understand the most basic principles of the car. They just need to use it. For mobile phones that almost everyone needs to use, we don't need to know how the chip is made, we just need to buy the phone and use it. When we go online, we don't need to understand how the information on the network is transmitted from one location to another. . . There are many such examples. It is enough to show that there is no conflict between whether the customer understands the product and the customer needs to buy the product.
The same is true for the EVA foam we produce ourselves. We understand the product and the production process, but the customer does not need to understand how the product comes from. What the customer needs to do is to put forward their own needs, and then we help the customer meet the needs. For us, customers give us requirements, provide drawings of EVA linings, or actual products, and we will provide drawings to customers based on the products. If there is room for delivery, we will produce samples according to the requirements first. If there are still adjustments that need to be made, we will deal with them before the mass production. This allows customers to produce large quantities more quickly. Customers do not need to understand the product at all, they only need to put forward their needs for EVA foam products, and we will solve the rest. This is a more market-oriented approach.

The Brief Case Are Only A Few Dozen Yuan, And The Foam Costs Twice As Much. We Can't Afford It
A few days ago, we received an inquiry from a customer, asking for the inner tray of the box to be customized according to the size of the outer box provided. The outer box is a suitcase mass-produced with an aluminum public mold. The inner liner is a set of product protection EVA foam lining customized according to the shape and size of the customer's product. The customer is currently using it for trial production, so the number required is not much, only more than ten. We preliminarily confirmed the drawings based on the size and appearance provided by the customer, and calculated the cost based on more than ten quantities. Then we quoted the price to the customer. After getting the price, the customer replied that the suitcase they purchased was only a few dozen yuan, so how come the cost of the foam is almost twice that of the box? The cost is too high! Here, we can understand the customer's confusion. The customer believes that the purchase price of a suitcase as the main body is only a few dozen yuan. Logically, the inner lining as a foam lining should be very cheap. This idea is right in that if the cost of the material is calculated alone, then the foam can indeed be made very cheap. For example, using sponge or EPE foam as the inner lining, the cost of the foam should be controlled to a few yuan. In this way, the lining should indeed be much cheaper. The customer overlooked another problem. The customer has requirements for the load-bearing capacity of the foam. From the material point of view, too light a material cannot protect the product, so we use high-quality EVA foam. Because the liner is customized according to the customer's product, we need to make drawings according to the product, and then adjust the machine for production after confirmation. We can make drawings according to the customer's product for free, but the cost of adjusting the machine is for the customer. If the quantity is too small, this cost cannot be spread out, so the unit price appears to be relatively high. Why is the price of the outer box so cheap when the quantity is also small? Because the customer purchases the manufacturer's batch production, and the manufacturer produces enough, so as to reduce the cost of molds, etc. The customer can actually look at this problem from another perspective. This can be used as the cost of proofing. In the later stage of mass production, we can return the cost of the sample according to the order quantity. In this way, the price of more than ten EVA liners will become very cheap, or even free.

Isn't this just a small opening? It should be very simple.
Is it easy to process and produce something when it is small? Is it easy to produce products with simple appearance design?
In production, we usually think that the smaller the thing, the harder it is to make. Because the product itself is small in size, it requires higher precision, so the more attention should be paid during production and processing. If you are not careful or any detail is not handled well, the product will be reported. Therefore, for small products, from the perspective of a single product, the proportion of its materials is very small, and sometimes the material cost can even be ignored. However, because of the high requirements for processing equipment and high processing precision, its processing cost is often more expensive than those products that are many times larger in volume.
For products with simple appearance design, we often just look at the appearance. Indeed, if the appearance is simple and not complicated, it should be simple to process. At this time, we need to analyze the specific problem. If it is just a simple straight line cutting, it is indeed very simple in production. You just need to simply cut the materials into pieces and splice them. However, if it is a curved surface, the problem becomes complicated. If the curved surface is not processed well, the surface of the product will become very rough or uneven in appearance. Curved surfaces also have their own flatness. Only overly smooth curved surfaces can correctly restore the design itself. So many times, simple designs actually require higher production requirements.
When we produce EVA foam products, customers sometimes have questions, "We just simply dig a hole in it to put the product, how can it be so much more expensive than cross-cutting?" Customers will not understand that the time required to ensure the flatness and smoothness of the surface is far less than that of cross-cutting. Customers will only see that the one-piece molded lining is better looking than the one that is stamped and then glued, and the integrity is also better. Do we need to explain it in detail to the customer? We can explain it to the customer, but don't try to convince the customer. Because if the customer does not suffer losses in other ways, the customer will not believe our words. They will think that everything is for sales. So what we need to do is to insist on high-quality product production, strive to improve our skills, and leave the rest to time.

Your price is indeed higher than others, but I still need your help to arrange the production.
The customer who had previously asked us to make a sample and then found another supplier to produce the product recently contacted us to arrange production of the product that was originally produced by someone else. We asked curiously, -- Has this product been shipped? Has the customer added an order? -- No, it is still a previous order. The last batch of goods was of poor quality and was returned. Now we have to redo it. -- The customer's requirements are too high. Didn't the customer sign and confirm our previous samples? How could the quality be poor? Are there new requirements? Before production, the details must be confirmed. If you produce first and then adjust, it will take more time in the end, and the effect may not be good. -- The customer did not change the requirements. We took the sample you made and confirmed it with the customer, but the product produced by another manufacturer is far worse than yours. The customer does not accept it. -- Our production schedule is a bit full recently. If it is not urgent, it may take a few days to arrange production. If there is no problem, we will arrange production. -- Please help arrange production, and we will communicate with the customer. This time I had thought I could make more money by buying from another manufacturer at a lower price, but now I have to redo it all and all my work is in vain.
We always believe that you get what you pay for. There are reasons why cheap products are cheap and reasons why expensive products are expensive. Products with different prices face different markets. If you need high-quality EVA linings for packaging, you can't go wrong with us.

The samples you made are very good, but the unit price is too high. We found another supplier.
We have many customers who have confirmed the proofing, but have not placed orders. We contacted the customer to confirm that the project is real. Follow-up contact confirmed that there is no problem with the quality of the sample. But there is no order. The customized production of Dongguan EVA foam is basically concentrated in a few places. Many factories know each other, and we found that the products we proofed before have been produced in another factory.
Of course, it is the customer's freedom to choose who to be his supplier. When the customer comes back to us for inquiry again, we still quote the customer normally. When the customer needs proofing, we also provide customers with high-quality samples as always. When chatting, we asked the customer:
-- "You have shipped the products that were proofed before, what is the reason for not being able to cooperate? Would you like to share it?" -- "The main reason is that your unit price is too high compared to others!" "How does the quality of their production compare with ours?" -- "The quality cannot be compared with yours, but the budget is relatively low, so we can only choose the cheaper one."
Some friends may ask, why don't you lower the quality standards to reduce the unit price and get orders? This is a good question. As a factory, we also need more orders and more profits. However, as an enterprise with aspirations, we want to make products with better quality. While maintaining high quality, we can reduce the production cost by improving our own technology, rather than reducing the process and using low-quality raw materials.
This is a very large market. Some customers don't care much about quality and just want to use it, but there are also customers who pursue high quality. It can only be said that the market positioning is different, and there is no right or wrong in this.

Why is the unit price of customized products relatively high?
This is actually a false proposition. The unit price of a product is actually not very related to whether it is customized. The reason why people think that the unit price of customized products is high is because they compare the unit price of customized products with that of mass-produced products. In fact, the unit price of mass-produced products in the initial proofing or sample stage is also very high compared with the later mass production. Why? This involves many aspects of production. Let me talk about a few easy-to-understand ones:
Product mold. If the product production requires a mold, the cost of this mold must be spread over the unit price of the product. Of course, customers can also make molds by themselves. But this cost exists and cannot be ignored;
Order quantity. If the order quantity is small, even if the mold is not needed, the production cost is difficult to reduce. Assuming that the order quantity is large enough, the production line can continuously produce the same product. In this case, the production cost is relatively low and the product quality can be guaranteed. Because the factory is producing the same product at the same time, it will be more familiar with the product and more aware of the production precautions, so the corresponding production efficiency is high and the product quality is good. If the order quantity is small, and it is completed in less than a day, then at this time, the production line has to be switched, and the time and cost of personnel adjustment and equipment adjustment in the middle will be large. And these are all production costs;
Start-up fee. If the order quantity is small, there will be a startup fee for some machines. Because the debugging of the machine will generate labor and material costs. . . . So is it possible that the unit price of customized products can also be relatively inexpensive? The answer is yes, as long as the number of customized products is large enough, the associated costs in the middle can be spread out. The reason why the price of our Yiqiang Packaging Customized EVA foam products is relatively high is nothing more than these main points. Of course, we have been optimizing our production process to provide customers with more favorable prices while ensuring quality and delivery time.

We Always Get What We Pay For
In life, we all know that you get what you pay for. But when it comes to business, you want to be cheaper than cheap? Is this possible?
The answer is "of course", but at what cost?
First of all, we need to have a few definitions,
Doing business is not charity
Doing business is to make money, and only profitable business can last long
Everything has a cost
Cheap price means low cost
Labor, materials, production time… are all costs
So, what do you need to do to get cheaper goods? The answer is to reduce costs. The reduction can be labor costs, material costs, and shortening production time.
The labor cost of a city is basically fixed. If the company employs people according to legal requirements, then the labor cost should not differ too much.
For materials, in the same country, the price of materials of the same quality will not differ too much.
The production time will mainly vary due to different equipment and processes. When the industry develops to a certain extent, the equipment used for the same design may be different, and the production time will vary due to different equipment. Assuming that we use advanced equipment, the production time should be similar. In contrast, the production time of backward production equipment should be longer. Therefore, for the same product, the shorter the production time, the lower the cost. To summarize briefly, what do we need to do now to get cheaper products? Use advanced equipment to shorten production time. With the same process and the same equipment, what should we do if we still want to get cheaper products? Are there any places that customers can't easily find? Materials! That's right, using cheaper materials can significantly reduce costs. The prices of homogeneous materials should not be much different. Then use lower standard materials! After using lower standard materials, do you still need a lower price? Then shorten the production time! How to do it? Reduce the process and reduce product details. After that, the cost of the product will come down, and then we get a lower-quality product with worse materials and rougher production. Yes, when you only pursue cheapness, you can only get low quality. What we do is to strike a balance between quality and cost. While ensuring the high quality of our products, we also reduce production costs. We have always used high-quality materials to ensure that the product is right from the beginning. Then we use the advanced equipment on the market to ensure fast production and stable quality. So how do we reduce costs? Optimize the production process! While ensuring quality, optimize the processing technology, not reduce, but adjust the process sequence, in the same time, under the premise of ensuring the same quality, produce more products. Yiqiang EVA foam products have been committed to providing the market with high-quality EVA foam products. Ensure that customers can get better quality products at the same price.

Good product design should be matched with product packaging
Many times we design and produce a very good product. But we can't find a suitable packaging for them that can highlight its advantages. This is a very painful thing.
Our products should be liked by more people, but because of the use of unsuitable packaging, consumers lose the joy of unpacking after receiving the product because of the poor packaging. What's worse, the product is damaged during transportation due to poor packaging, which leads to after-sales and customer complaints. This is even more loss-making.
** So why can't we find a suitable packaging? **
The material is not selected correctly
The packaging supplier is inferior
The packaging manufacturer's processing capacity is insufficient
……
Since the packaging has been designed for the product, our product should have a packaging that matches it. Better protection, better display. Yiqiang Packaging may provide you with another option.
