- “With the help of mediators, it led French authorities to caches of weapons, explosives and ammunition.“
Why don’t you tell us more about that? Because it’s an interesting story mass media tries to hide.
ETA attempted to disarm in 2011, 2014 and ever since, and neither the French nor the Spanish Government collaborated by sending their special forces to handle the weapons.  NOBODY, not the Spanish National Police, not Guardia Civiles, not French Gendarmerie, NOBODY wanted to take ETA’s arsenal. HELLO??????????
Tumblr media
Those mediators cited in the article were CIVILIANS that, in 2016, were fed up with Spanish & French Government’s indifference towards the voluntary disarmament of a terrorist band and agreed on taking the weapons themselves. The secret places where ETA hid their asenal - and that were supposed to be “cleaned” by this civil initiative - where raided by the French police before these people - named “the peace artisans” - got there and they were accused of TERRORISM.
Tumblr media
ETA’s final disarmament took place last April 8th and was again THANKS TO the peace artisans, because again NO GOVERNMENT sent any special force to handle potentially lethal weapons.
And yet, all they are reduced to in the article is to the word mediators in an isolated context-giving sentence.

News of the day: a Basque film shot in Euskara just won 10 Goya awards [Spanish Oscars]
Tumblr media
No, listen. This is HUGE, okay??? The film is called “Handia” [big one in Euskara] and tells the real story of Miguel Joaquin Eleizegui Arteaga, the Giant of Alzo, a Basque man who suffered gigantism and was growing up until his death, when he was 2.42m. He started touring through Europe in freak shows but was welcomed by kings and queens - including Queen Victoria.
The film was written and directed by Aitor Arregi and Jon Garaño, creators of Loreak, another great film.
Here’s the trailer dubbed to Spanish, we couldn’t find it in Euskara, just found a teaser. Btw, actor Eneko Sagardoy - who plays Joaquín - won a Goya last night for his performance.

Aaah, and to think that we were selected as extras for this film and couldn’t make it since we had an exam that day!!!!! :(

Here’s a play on words.. in Euskara!
- Goazen larrua jotzera –> it means “let’s f*ck”, BUT literally it means “let’s go hit the leather”, and that’s why the poor leather ball runs away screaming “noooooo”.
lol
