One argument against the idea that homosexuality and polyamory and transgenderism are "unnatural" that consistently bothers me is people doubling down on the appeal to nature fallacy rather than rejecting it altogether. I think there is a lot to be said about the way women who are in positions of power via something like whitness, cisgender status, ability, economic class etc. etc. — use those positions of power to abuse non-white men, trans men, disabled men, homeless/working class men, etc. as a form of "payback" for their treatment at the hands of men who fit the patriarchal mold (i.e. white cis abled upper class etc. men) because it's easier to hit a vulnerable person than confront the actual, systemic root of the problem — but I really don't think the people of Tumblr are ready for that conversation.

People get very confused when I react strongly to people who make "kill all men" or "I hate all men" jokes.

I am a man. My partner is a man. I have friends and loved ones who are men. So when you say "all men", I take that literally. I take it as a threat to myself and the people I love.
