the biggest loss of animated movies trending towards sympathetic villains/no villains is that we dont get enough crazy death scenes anymore. stuff like tarzan's villain accidentally hanging himself or help i'm a fish's villain drowning and floating away silently on screen. sometimes your movies just need stuff to scare 8 year olds shitless. its good for the enviroment i think. probably.

One specific thing about transandrophobia that I hate is the demonization of masculinizing gender affirming care.
Anyone who's actually been on testosterone knows that it doesn't make you more aggressive, or angry, or a horrible person.
In fact there is such a small amount of research into testosterone hrt that its affect on fertility is still a big fat ???. How can we say it 100% without fail makes people into aggressive assholes if we straight up don't have reliable research? Oh right, we can make up and perpetuate anti-trans propaganda.
Surgeries are always framed as mutilation. Ripped off breasts and jagged scars are used as warnings and spread in an effort to convince people that gender affirming surgery is akin to self harm. If any research was done into top surgery, it becomes apparent that a) there are plenty of options that result in minimal scarring and b) it's not "ripping", but the precise removal of mammary tissue and reconstruction of the skin. Spreading this nonsense makes trans men and transmascs (and nonbinary people who want top surgery) more afraid of what is essentially a routine, researched operation. Plus, I thought we learned from the i <3 boobies movement that coveting the breast above the person it's attached to is anti feminist.
And finally, phalloplasty. One of the most misrepresented, misunderstood operations in masculenizing gender affirming care. There is so little knowledge about it. My least favourite rumors are "it looks weird" and "it falls off". As for the latter- IT DOESNT FALL OFF. it doesn't. It never has. There are RISKS of interrupted blood flow/rejection/implant migration, but there are RISKS with every single surgery out there. These risks are monitored, during scheduled follow up appointments. As for the former, body shaming isn't cute. Dicks come in all shapes and sizes, and the phalloplasty ones don't deviate from that variety. There are short thick ones, there are long skinny ones, and there are average ones, and everything in between. Besides- why do you care about a dick you're literally never going to have sex with? Stop perpetuating misinformation.
Do some goddamn research.

people are clowning on this guy on reddit but uhhh let's pause for a minute and ask...so what happens if someone has a skin condition? what if part of their face has been burned? what if they're missing their eyes? and so what if they just have a fuckton of tattoos? recognition algorithms are aligned with the most ""average"" / ""normal"" features which means any deviation gets denied access to shit we didnt need age verification for 1 year ago. i dont care if it's a choice versus not, dont care if it's accessing porn or wikipedia, this needs to stop

as a pink lover. The ""universal""" hatred of the color pink by young girls is due to the heavy expectation of femininity forced on them. It is an expression of frustration at gender roles. It is not internalized misogyny. No you will not inevitably start liking pink as an adult and if you do that is not healing your inner divine feminine or whatever we're saying now. Its a color. 😁👍
#EXACTLY.#I’ve loved pink forever but hate hate hated when people said I was girly for it#because it’s just a fucking color

We sharing anaesthetic stories?? I had to have dental surgery when i was in middle school.
According to my mom and sister the very first thing i did upon waking up was BOLT upright and proceed to try and shove my ENTIRE fist in my mouth as fast as possible.
I had to be physically stopped, and i proceeded to sob my eyes out for the next 20 minutes. Somehow, i didnt damage anything 🤣
sorry that imagery is so vivid i just..
?????LOL
