This summer instead of taking the I-5 back to Portland after visiting my parents I wondered what it would be like to take the 101 down the coast, stop off at my favorite place in Seaside, pick up some food, drive to this place called “The Cove” and watch the dolphins and surfers at sunset. At the time I was also trying to find a Radiohead song that was in any way positive and inspiring. This sunset showed me I was missing the point entirely. “I Can’t” blended perfectly in the background with the sunset and it all made sense. I not going to tell you how. Cannon Beach never fails to amaze. Locals said this is very rare there. It was so spectacular there was a man in the sand on his knees praying. I think the Puffins were praying as well.
