it was for a documentary film about mental health and i really loved being able to create the score for it. i prefer to work behind the scenes, so it was a really fun opportunity for me to spread my wings. forever the biggest fan of everyone else in the band and i think doing our own thing can be so beneficial for a lot of reasons. lots of new music for you then. do you find it tough to balance two slightly different groups at the same time? are you still managing to sleep with your hectic schedule?

woah, for a whole ass movie?! look at you go! how was that kind of experience for you? i can only imagine how intense it must've felt like at times. hey, at least you're being insanely supportive, right? that's what they deserve. man, even moving down the street is an insane adventure so i believe you! new music! my subunit MISAMO just released our lastest album, and then TWICE are releasing a new one in December so loads of exiting stuff happening on my end.

i swear i feel like such a boomer when i'm complaining about the year going too fast but it really feels like 2024 was turbo-charged. since we're already in november, which is an acceptable mariah month, have you gotten your tree up and have christmas music blaring from the speakers? my favorite thing was probably getting to make the score to a documentary and i learned so much about myself and my art when i did that.

yes good busy is way better than bad and boring busy. i know right i blinked and it’s november, there’s christmas music playing and im so very tempted to put up my christmas tree but i don’t want to start a riot. my favorite thing to happen this year would have to be getting the opportunity to get a place in new york for work and really learn the life there. what about you? i will make sure to alert you if i hear anything about it!

you sound like the biggest christmas person, i love that. how early do you start your christmas shopping? my mom gets started in september and there's no talking her out of it. are you a good gift giver? because i struggle sometimes to be original enough and buy things people actually need.

Is it a crime that it's November first and I'm already excited, ready, and setting up for Christmas? Whilst everyone was getting their faces painted and emptying the stores shelves of Halloween candy, I was looking up Christmas gift ideas. honestly, that's so valid. even with good stamina, being on stage every night gets exhausting and you don't wanna deal with it. no matter how much you love it, sometimes noping out of everything is sooo tempting. that was definitely me when we were doing our back to back world tours and every night in a new city got tired fast.

I love our fans. I truly do. I love my brothers too. Nothing brings me more joy than being on that stage with them and making everyone happy. With that said, sometimes I just want to take a nap right there in the middle of the platform. Having low stamina is cruel. One moment you're having the time of your life; the next you're sitting on the stage surrounded by a million people yelling and you just want to sleep. Can only aju nice so many times before it starts to hit you, you know? @hfrpstarters

you had a busy schedule and you've been doing every single talk show since the song came out. it was a pretty small event but they did indeed make me give interviews. at least i could speak italian, so it wasn't too bad. i think we got everything important packed and the rest can stay until we decide what we're doing with it. i don't know, you're leaning into that roaring twenties look, so i think the mustache matches with that. hate how tiktok has become the main way to promo your work but you've been killing it. i think until we make any kind of a band announcement about new music or a tour, they're just going to assume the band has broken up. there's no convincing them otherwise - people are dumb.

sorry that i couldn't make it out to the premiere, but i watched for all the updates. you looked gorgeous like always. did they make you do any interviews? feels like we got everything we need here. did you manage to pack it all or do we need to make a trip back to rome? to be fair, i love the mustache but my management hates it. says it kills the vibe. we're in a really weird time where tiktok is the best platform to promo on so had to jump on the trends and get my song out there. you were right -- they've been asking the same shit over and over. mostly asking if the band has broken up, which i've clarified about ten times over. tempted to start telling people we have.

forever grateful for a father with impeccable hair genes. though, my mom also has beautiful thick hair, so their genes were working harmoniously together, hah. you're always your hardest critic, especially when you're in the public eye. plus, you tend to say the bad things to yourself before anyone else can, as a self-preservation method. sad but true. glad to hear you're thriving now though.

Oh gosh yeah Ive seen it in my irish cousins, little to no hair and it just goes through the line. Why thank you. I use to be really harsh on myself for it when really I should jsut been grateful, I think I look older now but clearly hopefully not my age. Thats lovely of you to say and oh I so agree on that

eth: hah, that they are. their solo projects are the reason why every few business days the internet thinks måneskin has broken up, lmao. however, i'm also doing my side quest right now. i just composed a score for a documentary and also working on the production side of things. eth: i can hardly keep up with my shit at times, so hardly fair to expect you to. did i hear something about you being injured? how's that going? despite having a football fanatic as a husband, i know shockingly little about it.

hah, i wish i had an answer for you. no idea when we're releasing anything new. we're on a little hiatus now with dami and vic both pursuing solo work and i've been making and producing music for a movie. dami's solo music is so good though, maybe that'll make our hiatus go a little faster? gosh, we're moving to LA and if anyone says moving internationally with most of your stuff and you cat is easy, they are lying to you. how're you doing, lovely? new music or touring or finally catching your breath for a minute?

premiere is actually today. i think they want me doing some interviews but i'm trying to get out of there without much fanfare. i'll get that done and then finish packing. jasper and i could make the trip over on saturday. it's been weird being in limbo with the move, so hopefully by next week, all of that is behind us. you're as indecisive about your mustache as you are with your hair, so that tracks. can't believe you're in your tiktok era, but it's been nice watching them while we've been apart. babes, soon you'll be talking to a lot of new people, and they're going to be asking you the same questions over and over again.

take your time. when's the premiere? maybe i'll be able to come out for it and support you. you know i can never make up my mind about what style i want to rock. the mustache feels right one day and then drives me nuts the next. the prep is going nicely - just been doing tiktoks for it mostly, which means a lot of my work has been done from the comfort of home. i'm sure it'll get a little busier when it drops in five days. god, what a mood. not having to talk to anyone is always the goal.

you're both working hard. teaching someone in such a short time isn't easy either. you guys are so much fun to watch together and i say that as someone who's never been into reality tv or dance competitions, hah. nah, still in rome. i composed a score for a documentary and it's actually coming out today. i should be able to get my butt to LA by next week though, so maybe i can come cheer on you then?

Stephen worked so hard this week and all of it paid off! He did so good! This was his best performance yet and I'm so, so proud of him! Have you made it to LA yet or are you still transitioning? We need to get you out to a show!

i'm loving this happy era you seem to be in right now, lovely. i still need to meet this amazing girlfriend of yours, and i can't believe i've not been able to make it happen yet. i'll be living in LA shortly, so there's no more excuses and we must actually do it. i'm a little frazzled, if i'm being honest. doing an intercontinental move is horrible and can't possibly recommend for anyone.

stop it, you're not awful at all. just busy and successful and that's a blessing. how many movies do you have coming out soon? i'll have to prepare myself, since i of course need to see them all. i didn't know you sang as well? is there anything you're not good at all? seriously, congratulations about the feature, that must be so exciting. with damiano releasing his solo album, he needs to be in LA for work and it makes sense to relocate. i'm a little scared to move but i don't think it'd be fair to stay behind in rome when he's got no choice but to make the move for his career.

i've often thanked my father for the genes. i believe the hair gene comes from the dad. my dad is in his early 70s now and he still has incredibly thick hair, so i'm very fortunate. you grow really fond of the hair over time, it becomes a huge part of your identity. you have a baby face, somehow you've managed to look the same age for a decade. the hair just enhances your striking features and doesn't take anything away from them. one bottle of good quality hair product is sooo much better than tons of cheap ones.

I can totally see it. You obviously like have those good genes but you also take really good care of it. I dont blame you why would you want to at this point? I always use to think it aged me down but you got a very nice complimentary point there friend. Ohh that's totally what it is you use the good natural stuff instead

i could definitely tell it was you doing all the things. the cuts are usually seamless but they're not that seamless. good job on being a badass. do directors ever try talking you out of doing your own stunts? some of them can be a little dangerous, right? hah, currently the band is on a little hiatus. vic and dami are doing their solo thing and i recently composed a film score for a documentary. it's been a crazy couple of years for us, so a breather was necessary.

Okay but let me love you. That's probably one of the best compliments I've ever received, so thank you. I indeed do most of my stunts! I've always been a very physical person and I try to do as much as they let me. Seriously, thank you for noticing. Speaking of badass, you're one yourself. How's world domination going? I feel like your band is everywhere and I'm so here for it!

took me a bit longer than i would've liked to finish the season but safe to say, i absolutely loved it. it makes me so happy that there's a show like that around now - and you and joe have such beautiful chemistry. working together and falling in love, that's an epic getting together story to tell. i know they haven't renewed it yet but you think season 4 is coming? they have to right? you can't end the show with how the season ended. i'm greedy, i want more, hah.

oh wow, thank you — i'll have to come bother you for your review once it's out then. that's definitely for the best as people will be talking once it's out and it can be harder to avoid. well, while filming the first i'd say we became close friends and i was figuring myself out but things might have changed for the second for me — so i'd definitely say our characters brought us together.

always doomed to be two ships in the night, what bad luck. i love working on the production end. it's so rewarding to see results and i'm much more comfy letting someone else take the shine. i don't enjoy a lot of the fame elements of doing music, so this is really the perfect compromise. are you guys dressing up during shows since they're on halloween? might be a hell of a good time, showing up in costume and confusing the audience.

While you'll be headed there, I'll be headed to Europe! Might just miss each other here. Nice. The production part is always one of the most fun parts, don't you think? What's the documentary about? We've got a fair bunch of producers and composers on our team with all the members we've got, but one more doesn't hurt! Yep, got the European leg soon. We'll be in Europe for Halloween.
