  hi !! sorry i’ve been away but uh, story time, i am suddenly a parent ! basically my partners grandparents lost custody of their siblings after their parents had already lost custody some time ago and so we were called in the middle of the night like “hey can you guys take these two” and ofc we said yes because we live in an actual house now and i’m not sending them into the foster system if i can help it and uh. yeah. it was like 3 in the morning and the case workers did a quick lookaround to make sure the place was big enough and habitable for them, signed us onto some papers so we’re foster parents, and signed us into our care. i spent part of my day trying to enroll them in school ( still need some info from their case worker about their immunizations and etc ) and my geralt kinning continues as i have small humans suddenly placed in my care

do u ever interact with/see a blog that’s really cool but the chara is from a really cringe/toxic series or fandom so you’re trying to be work with it bc it’s not their or the charas fault that the media/fanbase is like that but ur brain is just

   sorry for continuing to be a cryptid, everyone’s safe but my partner is in inpatient so i’ve been focused on my home life and i have very little motivation to talk or write. ily guys and i’ll be back soon, promise

the funniest thing to me is when characters familiar with other things ( aliens, dieties, monsters, demons, superheroes, etc. ) but not in the witcher sense meet geralt and automatically assume he’s something else and he has to awkwardly explain like no......... they just took a human and fucked with it until i was like this

     Geralt inhales slowly as he approaches the port ,  gloved hands neatly folding over the contract in his hands to tuck it in Roach’s saddle .  The sirens of Skellige were apparently becoming too much for fisherman to handle ,  warranting a contract from Cerys herself-  insisting Geralt was the only man she’d trust with the job .  He was admittedly skeptical when she described the navy being occupied with Nilfgaard’s invading forces and hiring a buccaneer ship to help him ,  But the witcher begrudgingly waned to Cerys judgement .  She was observant ,  a good judge of character if nothing else .  Yet ,  as he got closer      No , could it be . . . ?  He tugs on Roach’s reins ,  staying a distance to observe the captain with cat-like hues .  His face twists into a grimace ,  a gruff sigh leaving him as he kicked the stirrup and moved to stable Roach .  This was . . .  going to be a long trip .  It’s not long before he approaches the ship ,  warily side eyeing its crew as they looked onto him with bafflement .  Not shocking ,  considering how far out at sea they were when . . .  It happened .  Likely expected him to be dead .  He inhales ,  crossing his arms tightly over his chest before speaking .   ❝ Cerys sent me . ❞

     So it’s my one year ! it’s hard to believe i’ve had this blog for a whole year ( even though i’ve had some ups and downs and some.. less than stellar activity aksjnsd ) I’ve met so many amazing friends and people, and even though sometimes it’s been hard I don’t regret returning to tumblr. I’ve come to accept my gender identity, gotten engaged, and moved into a new home- pretty much a new leaf for me entirely. 

Idk where i’m really going with this but... i love you guys and everyone who has supported me!!
