To be honest, he forgot it exists.

He'll have to be reminded of it, and if his s/o does do that- then he'll do just about whatever they want.

He's not great at celebrating this stuff, not like he cares for it much either, but if the person he loves likes it then sure, he'll indulge them.

The way he goes about it is slightly awkward, forced, but there is genuine love behind his actions and gifts. His gift most likely being a box of chocolate he stole from the store, there's a few already eaten too.

If his s/o doesn't like gifts then chances are he'll just stay in with them and do whatever they suggest, because if he had it his way he'd just sit there and watch shitty romcoms with them until he passed out.

He'd honestly just be happy spending the day with his s/o in any way, as he would any other day.

(why is he Small)

Nightmares suck, Aaron would know that better than most. His immediate concern is his s/o's safety and comfort, he won't ask about it unless they feel like talking about it. All in all he just ends up holding them close to him until they relax, he's a little worried about going back to sleep afterwards but he eventually dozes off.

Axel

Honestly he'd brush it off at first in a half awake state, he's just not good at actually noticing when people are in distress besides when he's murdering them. When he realizes somethings actually wrong his immediate instinct is to go for the knife on his nightstand, ready for war. His s/o WILL have to explain it was a nightmare before he puts it down and gingerly attempts to ease their nerves with an awkward attempt at comfort in the form of quiet "you're alright"s, doesn't sleep after that and he feels kind of bad that he couldn't do much.

Shane

He tries to use logic to get his s/o through it first, if that doesn't work (as it wouldn't for most others besides himself) then that'll lead to him just kinda sitting awake with them until they go back to bed. By then he's not getting any rest so he'll most likely get up and start doing whatever his mind feels like at the moment.

Reilly

Mf HE gets scared at his S/O getting scared, just fucking jumps up going "WHATS HAPPENING WHATS WRONG" and when he learns it was a nightmare, he'll apologize and ask if his s/o needs anything, if not he'll hold them a little closer, he passes out the easiest out of the other bosses.

He'll question it, but there's no disrespect intended. It's not like he really cares, he's got a huge collection of guns so who cares if someone's got a collection of stuffed animals?

The questions usually come down to "why do you have all these" and then "so do they have names or"

Might also ask about their history, if some were from childhood, gifts, whatever. His curiosity will be piqued, but it might come off as judgy without him realizing or intending it.

Jack

Love is something that he tries to stay away from after the loss of his family, but when he feels it again for another- there's a twinge of hope, before the crushing realization that those feelings could NEVER be reciprocated hits him. He's a gang leader who's literally returned from hell, no one could ever love something like that. He keeps his composed appearance up around them, and he'll never let his feelings slip through, he's practically a professional at bottling his true feelings.

Aaron

Gets so so confused. He never got to experience what it was like to really crush on someone, so it takes him a while to figure out why his stomach gets so light around that particular someone, why his palms get so sweaty and why words become so hard to form. It's after a discussion with Johnny that he realizes he's fallen, and that's when he immediately goes to confront those feelings in the form of confessing. It's awkward and for the first time in years Aaron can't seem to keep himself together, stuttering like a lovesick teenager. It's a mess and he's actually terrified the entire time, but he gets it done.

Axel

Immediately realizes and drops the news very casually, just comes over and goes "hey I love you, wanna get drinks?" Talking about these feelings is nothing he gets nervous about, he doesn't see why anyone would. Just don't be a pussy, say what you think, that's essentially his motto.

Shane

Like Axel, he realizes it immediately. But he doesn't act immediately, he waits. He looks for any sign that these feelings are returned, one of his best skills is reading people like books. He'll figure out that it's not one sided after a good month or two of observing, taking that person out more and more in order to further study. He just needs to be sure before he says or does anything stupid.

Reilly

Oh god he's so fucking awkward, the other person will for certain figure it out before he even THINKS of telling them. A single compliment makes his face flare up, he seems to stare at them and get lost for what feels like hours on end, it could only be more obvious if his heart was literally pounding out of his chest like a cartoon.

Definitely big spoon majority of the time but even he can appreciate being held occasionally. It's easier for him to hold his s/o because of his size, so they'll probably be crushed in his chest if he's holding them.

Passes out nearly every single time he cuddles someone, finding it soothing enough to carry him away into a deep sleep that if they're in his arms during, they're not getting out of until he wakes up.

Cuddling with him at night usually leads to him and his s/o being tangled up by morning, at least if they sleep as deep as he does. if not they'll probably wake up after the first 6 rolls and turns.

Jack and Shane with a self conscious s/o?

Jack

He doesn't understand why his s/o would be self conscious, it makes no sense to him. He can't get himself into that headspace especially when it's someone he loves, as they seem to be raised on such a high pedestal in his mind just for that. He will assure them as much as possible though, hoping that his words give even a bit of reprieve from their own worries.

Shane

Shane is much different on the other hand, he's able to see the flaws in everyone, including himself. He's been in that mindset his entire life, but when he learns that his own s/o deals with the same thing, it breaks his heart a little. He can spot the bad in everything, but he just can't find it in them. He'll do everything in his power to ease their mind, kind words and loving touches if his rather blunt statements of "there's nothing wrong with you, if there was I would say it to your face right now" don't work.

postal 1 dude with a s/o that likes bombs and making bombs. what if his s/o has an accident and the bomb goes off while they’re working on it (the blast isn’t enough to kill but enough to injure them) and they just walk it off like it’s nothing

He's definitely... Perplexed.

No doubt impressed that they can make bombs, probably asks for them to show him how to make his own when theyre not around. But when the bomb goes off in their face, he's panicking and suddenly he doesn't care so much about the crafts.

Seeing them walk it off is both attractive as hell and terrifying to him, he falls a little harder while going "what the FUCK" at the same time. After that he gets much more cautious and worrisome about their interest in making bombs, probably sticks around whenever they start working on another one after that.

"TAKE THAT, YOU NO GOOD PIECE'A SHIT!" Trevor roared at the burning home, he'd already killed the people inside, but that wasn't enough for him. He grabbed a jerry can from his truck and doused the place, all while you watched in the background.

You had grown used to his violent outbursts, they were never directed towards you, only other people. Did they deserve it? ..eh? Sometimes, at least.

"Are you done?" You asked, stepping forward and patting Trevor on the back. He'd nearly forgotten you were there, but his wicked smile only grew wider at the sight of you. "Yeah, yeah yeah yeah-" Deep breath, "WOOH! FUCK that felt good!" He cackled, "You see that shit?!"

You nodded with a chuckle, "Yes, yes, I saw it Trevor. You ready to go?" "Abso-fuckin'-lutely." While he would've loved to stay and watch the entire place burn to ashes, getting home with you two not getting shot at by some pig fuckers seemed a lot better.

Jacket

• Then he went over to you and silently looked it over

• If you want him to he'd put a bandaid or two over whatever the wound may be

• He's not too awfully concerned as he knows what people can take but at the same time he doesnt like the fact that his partner just got hurt

• "Refrain from repeating that action!"

Wolf

• He heard you shout and immediately ran, in all honesty the shout was more out of surprise than anything.

• Doesn't stop him from rushing in there to see what the hell happened

• If he sees blood he assumes the worst until you tell him that it was because of something stupid

• Once he knows what happens he calms down, he'll stick around but if you ask him to do something for you, he'll do it no questions asked

• Will probably snicker a bit if it's from something really dumb but he'll pretend that he didn't

• "Just, don't shout like that if it's.. this. Okay?"

When you tell Aaron you want to learn how to fight, he's more than willing to help you.

He also feels like very happy you came to him because this man has years worth of experience in streetfighting he has so many things to tell you

It takes him a bit to realize not everything he does is, well. Possible for you to do, because there's no way in hell you're as strong as this mf (he literally rips fire hydrants out of the ground) so he has to start going with things that don't require brute strength.

And don't get me wrong, he's still got a lot to tell you even without some strats like "just tear a stop sign out of the ground and go apeshit" but it's considerably less.

He'll gladly let you try out anything on him, he's taken a helluva lot more than you alone could output. So don't worry.

After he knows you can handle yourself, he's taking you out to go fuck with people. He'll probably start a fight and back away, letting you take care of business.

He's more than certainly going to have fun teaching you how to fight.

Granted, he's not all that interested in them- they're generally boring to him and he doesn't understand the purpose of playing them, but hey, if you enjoy it- what's the harm in watching?

He doesn't get into them, like at all. Sorry if you were expecting to play Minecraft with this mf while he wore catear headphones (he wears those anyways) but like he still just doesn't care for them.

General Postal Dude headcanons (GN reader)

Ah, the pain of enjoying Postal Dude but having no content. I understand completely from one Postal Dude enjoyer to another. All I could think of was some general headcanons, hope that's alright! This is put under a readmore for length.

• Okay first off what the fuck.

• You two could be together for years, he still won't understand how he even got a partner in the first place.

• You knew about the things he did, he didn't hide them from you. (Especially considering he was rather proud of those feats-) But he'd usually had people gun it outta there the moment he told them.

• You surprised him, in a nice way- granted. But still surprised him.

• But that's not the point.

• Dude doesn't understand human emotion very well, but he does try to sympathize where he can. Which is like, never, unfortunately.

• What he DOES understand is mindnumbing rage, he can absolutely help you with that.

• Help usually means giving you a shotgun and taking you out, if that's not your style- he'll be a little disappointed but hey, to each their own he supposes.

• I'm sorry if you expect him to be this great boyfriend and all, but he's really not amazing.

• He's never loved someone before, he doesn't exactly know what to do as a partner- he does love you, don't get me wrong. He has no idea how to handle it though.

• All of it is very alien to him, but he does try.

• He is good at hurting people, however.

• Oh, your boss is being a dick? Just give him 5 minutes alone in a room with Dude and a tire iron, he won't be bothering you anymore.

• There was someone hitting on you and it made you really uncomfortable? Just give him a rough memory of what they looked like, he'll find them soon enough and they won't be able to do that again.

• It's the best way he can think of to show that he does care for you, yes. I'm saying his love language is violence on those who you aren't fond of.
