Black Studyblrs

Hello! I mentioned this on my studygram but I would really love to follow more black studyblrs to start building a community! I myself am black and I feel like having a black community to support each other while we achieve our dreams would be amazing! I would love to support and be supported by black studyblrs because nothing is cooler than POC studying and stacking up the degrees. Law school is over and bar prep has started, so i used it as an excuse to completely re-do my desk. Suprise surprise.

Today I’m doing shifts: one hour of note-taking, 10-items of sample exams where I rationalize concepts, break, then possibly note-taking again or moving onto online platforms for flashcards. What I do on my breaks is stretch my legs and/or hydrate myself.

This is really important: symptoms of ADHD might actually be symptoms of trauma. That inability to focus, might actually be because you’re reacting to an emotional trigger. That hyperactivity might actually be a fight or flight response. I’m not invalidating ADHD at all, but I also want people to focus on healing.
