Desperately want a Layton spinoff game that follows the story of Dr. Glaive, the poor soul that has to take over all of Laytons classes with a one day notice because the professor decided to go mystery solving with a small child, a woman who can spin kick her way out of any situation, and some time after that his adopted daughter that has to follow him because he always abandons her.

Again, probably not the first one to bring this up, but

Hershel Layton inadvertently saved the lives of Rook and Bishop:
Rewatching Azran Legacy made me realise that Layton made more of an impact on Rook and Bishop then I thought.
Rook always wanted to be a good person but Layton helped him to see it.
If Layton hadn't inspired him, Rook wouldn't have left Targent. At least, not at this time.
Which means Bishop wouldn't have left either.
Since they were the ones assigned to retrieve the eggs around the world, it's likely that they would have been sent into the Azran Sanctuary with Bronev and the other agents.
However, at the final door, Bronev says that all of his henchmen fell in traps.
While not directly stated, I believe that this is a pg way if saying that all his men are dead.
Replaying the puzzles showed that those who failed would have either a) fallen to their deaths or b) been burned alive by the guardians.
Even if they survived, nobody went back to get them. Luke and Layton never noticed any men calling for help and Bronev was too obsessed with the Azran to care about them.
Since they are never seen, it is unknown how many agents actually died. In the bonus episode, Grouse hints that it was all of the military men.
The only confirmed person we actually see in the sanctuary is Gannet who is never seen again. RIP you gorgeous mustache man.
Since Rook and Bishop are idiots(affectionate) they would have failed at the puzzles and definitely been killed as well.
I wonder if they ever found out about their close call. Maybe that's why they decided to dress like Layton and Luke? Because they owe them their lives?
But hey, that's just a theory!
A game theory!

Another Puzzle I think about to this day:
Fruit Friends, Spectre's Call:
'' Four friends arranged to meet at a certain spot in town, each bringing their favourite type of fruit.
The first friends to arrive were the banana enthusiast and the fan of grapes, and each placed their bunch of fruit at their feet. The next two were lovers of grapefruits and melons. They also put their fruit at their feet, but then immediately ran off as fast as they could.
Where did the group meet? Circle a location, from A to F. "
The answer's B. The Puzzle in general is fun, but ever since I solved the puzzle as a child, something bothered me.
That's a road probably being used by cars, bikes, pedestrians and who knows what else.
FRUIT BEING CAPABLE OF ROLLING AWAY OR NOT WHY WOULD YOU PLACE FRUIT YOU WANT TO SHARE WITH YOUR FRIENDS ON THE GROUND? What's wrong with those people? Are there no tables in Misthallery? Nowhere?

I completed the first case of the Great Ace Attorney yesterday. It's a great introduction to the game and I really enjoyed myself.
I have just one question. It took me four-ish hours to complete the case, so are those 'AAI2 first case lengths' vibes I am getting or am I really this incompetent?

In the United Kingdom there is a legend that the day the ravens leave the Tower of London, the crown will fall and Great Britain with it...
The story begins not only with the fact that these ravens, out of nowhere, seem to have all left at the same time, but that same day, multiple ministers of the British parliament have vanished in front of everyone at the beginning of the corresponding sessions. There doesn't seem to be a pattern between the types of MPs who disappear: both from the House of Lords and from the House of Commons, from one party to the other...
What happens is that in the seats of certain ministers, different explosions of smoke occur simultaneously, which when they disappear it leaves only their clothes on the seat, and a message between the clothes that in Old English threatens the crown, which makes the English population nervous, especially since the media link it with what happened to the ravens.
Our story begins with Vincent Falco, an American historian who has made a fascinating discovery. On the other side of the Atlantic, on the east coast of the country , the 9 ravens of the Tower of London have been found, and he certifies it with the royal certification that they carry on their legs. That's why he writes a letter to the professor asking him to go there, because he's sure it must be no accident that they flew there, mainly because of the town's history: well, presumably, centuries ago, when the United States was trying to become independent from England, some Americans conspired to free the ravens and thus overthrow England.
With this premise, Layton and Flora arrive in the United States, where they meet with Luke (who, if you remember, canonically had gone to study in the United States because of his father's job), and together they go to the seaside town of Harborwich, a historic city founded by the British centuries ago. In this place there seems to be a criminal gang terrorizing the town; In addition, two predominant families that are in conflict also stand out, the Falco family (which is Old Money), and the Astor family (which is New Money); Vincent Falco, as a member of the Falco family, invites the group to his home to discuss the matter, where they meet the rest of the family.
To all these, it seems that someone is especially aware of the steps taken by the professor and company... But who is it?
