lmao I hate how some zutara fics try to make zuko like suave and intimidating… the kid would be the sweetest boyfriend in the world constantly complimenting and shit and always whispering sweet nothings and gushing over his partner. Like, he tries to do it to Mai in canon. In the early stages, he’d probably blush a lot and fumble because Zuko is awkward when he’s nervous, but when he’s not nervous (in this sense, later in the relationship), he actually speaks really articulately in the show and comics and stuff… so he’d just be nothing but sweet and great and open LIKE HE STARTED TO BE WITH KATARA HE WAS SO OPEN AND SPOKEN AND WAS GUSHING OVER HER AND ADMIRED HER AND HE WOULD STRAIGHT UP TELL HER HOW GREAT SHE WAS ALL THE TIME AND HOW MUCH HE LOVED HER IF THEY DATED IM SO MAD
