The mischief in her gaze was unmistakable, but there was something softer there too—something that made his chest tighten even harder as his body screamed at him. She guided his hands higher, pressing them against her ribs, her waist, as she rolled her body over him again. Clapping a hand behind his neck and dancing on him. He was helpless, his body moving in time with hers, completely at her mercy. Lewie clenched his jaw, his hands tightening on her waist as she rolled her hips, pressing down harder. He was hanging on by a thread, and his head fell forward, resting against her shoulder as he fought to stop himself from snapping. Bridget only laughed, low and throaty, as she shifted in his lap, her nails grazing the back of his neck. She brushed her lips against the shell of his ear. “I think you’re doing just fine, baby.”
