if there’s one person he’s always going to trust, Jason decides, it’s going to have to be Alfred. there are darker thoughts he could be having, standing before the measly gravestone of one Willis Todd, but with the hand on his shoulder there doesn’t seem to be a need for it.

having Alfred there offers the quiet solace and support he thinks he needs for this. there’s no judgement, just a firm, comforting touch and the promise of protection.  “ thanks for being here with me, Alf. ”
