Oh, boy! It’s time for…

I know you’re thinking: “They’re not even from the same game! Ike should be with X! Azura should be with X!”

Yes, I know, I’m aware of all those factors and opinions, but…

Have you ever seen two characters that have never interacted, but you love how they look together, and then you start to imagine what their relationship would be like? That happened to me with Ike and Azura, in 2018! 💙🩵

As someone who played Smash Brawl in 2008 (yes, I’m old), I loved Ike since the first day, and that love guided me to start playing Fire Emblem Heroes nine years later! Thanks to FEH, I learned about the rest of the franchise games, including the last at that time: Fates. My favorite character about that game was a lovely, light blue-haired songstress. I learned more about her, and started to considering Azura as my favorite female character in the whole franchise.

A year later, in 2018, I saw a beautiful fanart of Shigure (Azura’s future son) with dark blue hair, and a subtitle that said: “Ike + Azura”

That moment changed my life forever 💙🩵

I said: “Well, I can start shipping them! Why not?” And I did. It was fun, it was harmless… and then, another moment that changed my life forever:

I started to write a fanfic about them! 💙🩵

It took me 8 months to finish it and translate it (because I wrote it originally in Spanish, my native language), but I did it! Then I posted it in AO3, more than 15 years later than the last time I posted a fic online (again, I’m old), and I made friends thanks to it! Then I started to request commissions, and, regardless of everything, I’ve never felt so happy like now!

So, consider ship them, too! It will improve your life like you’ve never felt before! 💙🩵
