Something about the expression on her face made Carl think it would be a bad idea to do as she said. Shrugging, he put the fortune teller away. “I told you, I’m not really interested in doing that.” Hopefully she wouldn’t push it anymore but he’d figure out a way out of it if she did.

"My,my Hera. You're being pretty damn rude to those lil' demigods." Eris cackled and cocked her brow at the queen.

"I’ll say it one more time.  This is not my problem, therefore it is not of my concern.”

"Not a trick question,honey." Eris smirked and stared down at the fortune teller. "Give it a try, I wanna see what you get." She commanded and cocked her brow at him with a grin.

Startled by the sudden appearance, Carl jumped a little and spun around to face the goddess. “Is that a trick question? I do believe in prophecies and all that - I mean, I’m a demigod so …” Shrugging, he glanced down at the fortune teller. “But do I believe that this particular one is real? No. Some little kid probably came up with the fortunes, so they don’t have any real power.”

There are many things to be said about Eris, kindness is not one of them. She is cruel and can be downright sadistic. She loves herself, and sometimes Ares is alright. But for the most part, she’s in it for Eris. If Eris can’t win, she brings on the chaos. In her lifetimes she has made plenty of enemies but that doesn’t change the way she feels about herself. There’s always been a catch to a deal she makes, but hey it was a deal she made for a reason.

When it comes to her children Eris can be cruel. But she believes in teaching children the harshness of life. The children of Eris will live some of the toughest lives out there, but they always make it to fame somehow. Eris isn’t completely heartless in that aspect, she is actually the mother of plenty of celebrities. But if you’re around Eris, you better be prepared.

➥ Ares - Crush/Infatuation - Eris has always had an infatuation with the war God. It wasn’t until recently that she actually attempted to pursue him. But she is trying quite hard at the moment.
