With her husband, Erin Scholtes guided L&S Supply, Inc., in Central City, Arkansas, as an office administrator and co-founder as her team supplied natural gas and oil drilling products, including valves, pipes, containment units, engine parts, fittings, and accessories. She helped ensure the timely delivery of components to clients such as energy companies and government agencies. Ms. Scholtes is an honors graduate of the University of Arkansas, where she earned her degree in psychology with an emphasis on early childhood and adolescent development. She gained early career experience guiding development systems integration at the University of Arkansas. She trained staff and coordinated the work of IT and data entry teams as the financial donor system went online. Subsequently, Ms. Scholtes served as an account representative with ABF Freight Systems and handled inbound and outbound customer service and sales with the firm’s expedited freight division.
