"The language of myth is still, as ever, the secret speech of the inarticulate human soul; and if one has learned to listen to this speech with the heart, then it is not surprising that Aeschylos and Plato and Heraclitus are eternal voices and not merely relics of a bygone and primitive era. Perhaps it is now more than ever important to hear these poetic visions of the orderly nature of the universe, because we have grown so dangerously far from them. The mythic perception of the universe governed by immutable moral as well as physical law is alive and well in the unconscious…" ~Liz Greene, "The Astrology of Fate"

For clarity, given the current discourse (tm), @girlfleeshouse is an art bot in the old-school sense — essentially a self-randomising collection of my ( @tanaudel's) favourite things, arranged using Tracery on Cheap Bots Toot Suite.
It began as a table of "directions for fleeing" (choose one from each column) in a little zine I made of instructions for fleeing girls.
Then I started coding it to self-randomise, using the grammar in Tracery. This is a screenshot of the section of the code which grew from the page above.
Of course the project promptly got wildly out of hand, and I keep adding sentence structures, ominous beings, and hauntings.
